章節 112: Here Comes Trouble
After logging out and getting a night's sleep Paul watched the news for a few minutes, there was really not much going on, politician A was saying something stupid, Celebrity B was on a diet, Company C had been purchased by company D ect. then he remembered,
"Hey Holly can you print object files?" Paul enquired,
"Yes I have a small supply of materials for such a purpose,"
Paul sent the file and Holly printed it, the glove compartment opened and a type of coin was presented, Paul picked it up, it was about the size of an old two pound coin, printed on the one side was a small QR code and on the other was the head of a bulldog, Paul slipped it into his pocket and Logged back in.
It was nice to log in in his own residence, he could do things like have a bath even though it wouldn't clean his real body it still felt great, the hot water and bubbles relaxing him felt so good, he got up and equipped his cloth armor set, fabric shoes and trousers, gloves, wristbands, a bandana, and a Jedi like robe which flowed and was easy to move in, it was a tasteful black with golden highlighting and looked really good on him, it was billowing enough to hide his muscular frame, but no one would see this as soon as he left his room he transformed into his guise of the ugly girl again.
It was already in full swing when he got there and he dived right in to helping out, the mood was a relaxed one with players enjoying the food and getting their stats, people filing out dropping small bags into the 'tip jar', some players would simply come in pick up the food and leave with it, many liked to stay and eat, it was just before 11am that a commotion sprang up outside the doors and Aika sighed,
"Not again,"
Stood blocking the door were four men, all wearing mail armor and just stood there not doing anything else, Slick walked up and told Ulric,
"according to my asses enemy skill they have an average of 70 to 75 base stats, me and the boys can't do anything against that,"
Ulric just smiled, "your looking at the wrong guys, look at the customers what do many of them have in common?"
"uh.... class? or... um.." Slick then noticed and looked at Ulric who laughed,
Aika came up, "I'm sorry this is my fault, if I go they should..." Ulric cut her off,
"Just watch, it shouldn't take too long if I'm right," he went over and whispered to Orst who grinned and nodded and began to arrange some bottles.
One player yelled, "what the hell?! get out of the way,"
"It's your own fault if your too fat to pass through, there is plenty of room," the thug smiled, he loved having high stats as it meant these guys couldn't do anything,
there were more yells and insults but many players were keeping quiet as if waiting.
The girl Ulric began to giggle, upon seeing the others looking confused he pointed to four figures walking through the crowd, these guys were impressive, two were in heavy plate carrying a huge axe and sword, once was lightly dressed in extremely ornate Shirt and Trousers which showed off his thick and lean muscles, and the last was in a long robe covered in runes and glowing, on his head was a large wizard style hat also glowing like the robes, his face was in shadow except for the eyes which glowed light blue, he also floated several inches off the floor.
Several players talked to them and pointed at the goons, they nodded and one asked, "One each?" the others nodded, the man in shirt and trousers shot forward so fast many people though he disappeared, he reappeared before the right most thug, "Thundering Axe Kick," the thug was launched by this man's leg into the sky where he dissolved into light, before the other thugs could react the warriors each reached a hand out, "Come'ere" one thug got parted down the middle by the sword the other got parted across the middle by the axe as they were dragged magically toward the warriors, the wizard simply clicked his fingers and the last thug dropped through a portal with a "nya!"
While the crowd cheered lee Mos and Orst walked out and handed the four each four bottles of 'Elemental alcohol',
"A thankyou from the owner," lee said, the four were a little unimpressed until they noticed the permanent slight elemental resistance increase provided by the drinks, and from that day they were regulars.
Ulric and Slick went back to work, Ulric had a grin that wouldn't go away while Slick was deeply impressed, Ulric had settled a big problem without doing anything and secured four high level regulars who would help out in future if this happened again, Aika just went back to work grinning like the cat who got the canary.
