章節 4: Chapter 4: Battle starts
Yang Feng looked as the knights transported the goods and asked: " How many men do our enemies have??"
The young knight replied "From what we know they likely possess more than 500 men ready to battle any moment"
Yang Feng dazed for a moment and asked: "When do you think they would attack??"
The young knight replied "From my perspective, they would likely attack tomorrow but to tell the truth I don't think our city can survive "
Yang Feng thought for a moment and smiled "I think I have a plan"
At enemy's camp
A man who had a scar in his face went inside a tent which was guarded by the two guards
As the scar-face man entered a scary looking man was resting while his chest seems to be severely injured by a sword.
The scar-face man said "We will be ready to attack tomorrow my lord"
The scary-looking man ordered "I want that shitty city to be destroyed tomorrow no matter the cost"
The scar-face man acknowledged the order "Yes My Lord"
As the day ended, as the young knight asked with hesitation "Will this plan work??"
Yang Feng reassured him "This plan without a doubt and if we are able to succeed then we would be able to increase the morale of the knight which is very crucial right now but if we all then the city would fall"
The young knight kept quiet and said "I will do my best to succeed"
Next morning at 10:00 clock
The knights and archers we're stationed at the wall as they knew a battle would soon be starting, each of then were scared and their morale was low but they were willing to fight none the less as they knew this battle would decide the future of the city.
The enemies whereas numbered in hundreds each of them hungry for battle and without a doubt their morale was high.
As time went on, a scar-face man came riding a horse, he raised his sword pointing his sword towards the city'gate he shouted "Attack"
The barbarians started to shout as they charged towards the city wall and the gate.
As the barbarians charged towards the city wall Yang Feng immediately ordered to fire the arrows.
As the barbarians started to fall one after the enemies seem to be unfazed by the death of their comrades.
As the battle continued on the barbarians started to use a log as a ram to destroy the city's gate and ladders to climb over the wall.
After some time the battle nearly became head to head combat and Yang Feng knew he would be on disadvantage if they fought head-on.
So, Yang Feng gave a signal to the young man. When the young man noticed the signal he nodded and shouted "Spill it"
