Qin Zhan stared at the splash with a surprised look on his face.

A while ago, Gu Xin Ye was asking him to release her hand. Realizing that she might hurt herself while struggling to get away from him, Qin Zhan decided to release Gu Xin Ye's hands.

However, he did not expect that she would suddenly fall into the water.

Shen Yi Nian was about to take a step forward to help her friend up when she saw that Qin Zhan had moved faster than her.

The man submerged in the water for a few seconds before he pulled a coughing Gu Xin Ye out. Gu Xin Ye patted her chest a few times with her eyes closed.

Shen Yi Nian heaved a breath of relief upon seeing that her friend was without any injury. "Xin Ye, are you alright?" She stepped closer, wanting to check on her friend. But then, Shen Yi Nian realized that Qin Zhan was carrying Gu Xin Ye in his arms.
