The Fan Sect Sun Warship rocked in the wind as a man showed up as a blur by the Blaze Fire Generator. It was nightfall, and Lin Fan was busy working with An Moe in the Fan Sect Workshop on the [Burning Fire Armor] and the [Lightning Horn Badge]. He'd already failed at making each one seven times in the last three hours, but luckily had eighth grade metal from Ja Ran.
Ja Ran had given him Hundred Year Sacred Metal from the Empyrean Capital when he first finished the warship. This gift to Lin Fan was nothing worth remembering until he realized the failure rate for making the [Burning Fire Armor] and the [Lightning Horn Badge] was in the ninety-nine percentile for first time blacksmiths. This had nothing to do with skill, but rather the amount of practice you put into making each of the items.
The most important difficult thing about being an eight star blacksmith was that each work got substantially more unique to the blacksmith. Hence, the [Burning Fire Armor] required a skill called the echoing heart technique while the [Lightning Horn Badge] required another technique called the lions triplet hammer method. Lin Fan obviously had to master one of these techniques before the morning or he wouldn't be getting Yan Ran as quickly as he wished.
The gentle feeling of her sitting on his back with her chest smashed around his ears helped him focus as she jingled her body against his head. She was worried that Han Zhou would dare invade the Fan Sect, so she decided to equip herself to Lin Fan. Her beautiful figure and shadow and smiled dripped on the anvil of Lin Fan as he desperately tried his hardest to figure out the lion triplet hammer method. The metal was supposed to roar like a lion after three hits right when he was turning it into heaven metal.
However, rather then sounding like a lion, the metal seemed to bristle and laugh at Lin Fan for the tenth time. He slammed down his 6th grade diamond hammers and sighed before he wrapped his hands around Yan Ran's butt and squeezed.
"Oh... using my butt like a stress ball?" Yan Ran giggled as she kissed him on the back of the head... "I'm sorry, but you have to work harder then that if you want to get into my bed room..."
"It's not that... It's that match earlier today... I would've lost if Fan Kong used the law of fire earlier... I could tell he had reached at least 20 percent mastery in the law of fire... Meanwhile, I'm holding onto an ass with barely any grasp of the metal law..."
"You know... Sometimes it's better to have an ass in the palm of your hand then to spend all your time in books..." Yan Ran smiled as she looked at her sister Na Ran as she turned the page of a book... "It's better to be smart and powerful then powerful and smart... It's also his fault for underestimating you..."
"Father!" Mimi Fan ran into the room with a strange expression on her face... "Chen Long appears to be doing something strange! The sky is starting to split and a tornado of fire is descending! I think... I think he's about to poop, and not just a small poop!"
"He's not pooping... He's activating the demi-god tribulation..." Na Ran scornfully closed her book and snarled as she looked at the sky... "That bastard knows dozens of experts are going to attack him, so he decided to do it on the Fan Sect property..."
"He's... He's doing what? Grand Dragon Veros told me that you can't become a Demi-God unless you have someone to protect you! What should we do father..."
Lin Fan shook his head as he tossed down the blueprints and walked outside as he pulled up his sleeves. He was wearing a black shirt and his hair was disheveled from working so hard on the blueprints.
A large forcefield had appeared around the Fan Sect Outskirts where a few of his bunnies were trying to attack a man meditating in the center of the sect. Lin Fan turned to his right and sensed thousands of movements in the elements in the air, indicating that a lot of people were approaching. This sensing of the moving elements was called elementalization, and was a way of sensing where opponents were in space, time, and even their intentions at a high enough level. However, Lin Fan had not yet mastered elementalization and was instead shaking his head as a large fire ball descended towards his Fan Sect.
Like a blur, he shot up into the sky and pulled out his Metal Overlord Sword as his Metal Throne appeared behind him and shone with a purple light. The comet approached his blade before he finally stepped forward and let out three gigantic purple slashes
The comet split into six and burst down towards Forbidden Valley before the rock was destroyed by Gin Ran with a simple movement of his finger. He even looked down and saw Gin Ran frowning at him as he gently tapped his finger on his crossed arms. He seemed to be saying... You are not getting me involved in your scheme little brat...
"Mimi Fan... Move the Fan Sect as far away from Forbidden Valley... Did I teach you how to drive the Fan Sect Sun Warship..."
"You... you want me to be the captain! Is this is what it's like when you take control of mother's body?"
Lin Fan sighed and nodded his head as Yan Ran nervously looked at the approaching cultivators from all the races descending towards his sect. With the tournament going on, they had decided not to attack the humans, but with a Demi-God being born it immediately activated their rage and hidden intentions.
The idea of a Demi-God joining the human race would change the tide of the war as each side only had a handful of older Demi-Gods... With someone like Chen Long about to reach the next level... All their experts in the Apotheosis stage shot across the sky like dozens of shimmering arrows.
The Fan Sect Sun Warship as this was happening started to slowly move like a turtle in the sky trying to crawl away from ants about to descend on its shell. He had to get at least five miles away Forbidden Valley, and do it as a tribulation was occuring.
Dozens of fire spirals shot at Chen Long as he smiled and held up his thumb to Lin Fan. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but didn't care since he was well aware of the power of the Blaze Fire Generator.
"You're going to owe me an arm and a daughter...." Lin Fan said as he screamed at Chen Long as he laughed and nodded his head. He knew that Lin Fan would see the benefit of him becoming a god. Since they got drunk together, there had been a silent understanding between the two of them. A you scratch my back and I'll scratch your back kind of thing.
Lin Fan grimaced with rage as he instantly flew towards the experts approaching and right at a Dragon Kin in the Apotheosis Stage. He could only activate [Lightning Horizon] and his [Metal Overlord Body] to try and make his speed half that of his opponent.
However, rather then attacking, he smiled and took out a small sixth grade treasure and smiled...
"Hi, rather then fighting me... How much would I have to pay you to fight them... How does a seventh grade treasure sound from the Empyrean's personal best collection..."
"You're kidding..." The Dragon Kin smiled and offered out his hand... "Give me... Let me see it..."
Lin Fan smiled and tossed over the small round object before he used his other hand to grab onto the remote control. As the dragon kin caught it, suddenly a mushroom cloud surrounded his body as Lin Fan shook his head...
He obviously gave him a bomb and wouldn't be dumb enough to give him a treasure. Who did he think he was, some charlatan that gave out gifts for free?
"Well... One down and 1099 to go..." Lin Fan watched the Dragon Kin's charred body fall down towards the North Hills... "However, I really need to make this warship able to go faster... We're going to be dead by the time it's in a safe place to activate the blaze ring generator..."
