My friend Alex was a curious girl. She wasn't a kid anymore, so she would choose what was right or wrong for her self. She get new friends and also do things she was curious about but had never tried before.
And so she did. It was fun and even more exciting than she had imagined. Then one night she went to a party where she did things she couldn't quite remember. Everything was a blur and out of control. The last thing she recalled was holding on to a wall.
The next morning Alex found herself with smell of beer and smoke from last night's party. Her head hurt and she felt so powerless, alone and lost.
It wasn't supposed to be like this and it's definitely wasn't fun anymore but it's her choice she had no one else to blame.
Just a reminder guys. Drugs. Alcohol. Cigarettes. At first yes they seem like it cool things to do, so you try more and then some more. Before you know it, fun becomes a must have. It's out of control and you are hooked.
If that describes you or someone you know, you don't have an addiction - it has you.
