章節 16: Gods wrath

To fight a war disastrous those traveled long and far, to this wasteland barren, this eternally dead place, the depth of space. Where nothingness resolves all, those nearing the boundary of God appear.

Deserting the laws of time, these beings took a stance, and so a war of treachery and hardship, had begun, a war of countless yet none.

Nearing Godhood, yet nearing death. To reach a stage so grand, that one could near the boundaries of God, even those with supreme talent, a one in a billion genius, would struggle, and may even never pass the threshold after having lived their whole life.

And here, it was as seen, a group of elders near death, for such beings in this war dire no moment in life could be wasted. For to leave closed-door cultivation, however, they had taken a chance, a chance to be graced with the unique oddities of the mystics that came from Zukks untouched surface. A chance to become something greater, a chance to escape death, to fight all for such a change, even if they knew only death awaited, none would refuse such an ideal situation where they could escape the boney grasp of death.

Truly their time it could not be wasted, refusant to waste even a second before everyone had even arrived, they moved forth charging with their strength pushed to its peak and here in the emptiness of space, those near God fought without a care for anything in this world.

And so, on that day. Those entering the boundaries of Godhood, swung their swords, their fists, and their feet like maniacs and with each movement a laugh, a laugh chaotic, uncanny, and destructive.

Psychopathic tendencies. With each movement blood was shed.

War... The entrance into insanity. And to those that remained cultivating in seclusion for thousands upon thousands of years, to kill once more it was a feeling strange. A feeling exhilarating, and uncanny but well kept, to feel your blood boil, to feel it rise up, and the feeling that came from killing someone nearing Godhood to kill someone revered as a God to those unaccomplished, this it was the greatest accomplishment life in its self.

And to those, geniuses, just to walk upon the legendary battlefields of Gods they heard so much about, gave them the facade of grandeur.

A legend, from all throughout time, where blood is shed, he shall rise. Where wars are fought, she shall rise. And when evil overcomes light, those unknown come into being.

Divine beasts of undivulged background. A true oddity throughout time appears amidst grand battles all throughout time. In a war so grand, those fighting could only smile, awaiting their destiny, waiting for the day that a being, divine arises.

In times of war, to know exactly what you need to do, and to act upon it without the slightest hesitation, this is the meaning of being a true Emperor someone exempt from mere rules a true genius across the cosmos.

Against all else, on the side of Humanity a sole Emperor moved forth to fight on behalf of mankind.

Within a small room, a woman sat before a small child and spoke, "My little Zhi Qi, may your hopes and dreams come true, or at least not be shattered to the brink of no return and therefore forcing you down a life of self regret. And I know I can not stop you so all I can say is, live strongly like your father, exceeding all, and for your people, win this war." Saying this, the young child left to seek something new.

And to the mother, he left behind, upon her face, a feeling of regret, as tears ran deeply, and looking to the sky she muttered, "It seems he has truly taken after you... I refuse to give him to you now, so at least for now, take care of him for me okay? Take care of him, until he can take care of himself.

There in the vast emptiness of space, a sole child walked forth, with his head held high, into a battlefield of thousands.

The side of mankind, although merely one strong, moved forward further, faster, and on a greater scale, than all else.

Zhi Qi, mankind only fighter, upon his back an immense weight, to carry the hopes of countless, nay! To carry the wishes of trillions. At the mere age of four, Zhi Qi stood forward, becoming a greater man than throughout all time humanity could ever hope to be. At the mere age of four, Zhi Qi rewrote what it meant to be human, he rewrote humanity's gift.

To the humans that can't change, the limits to their strength? There was none. To those gifted, boundaries lied on each stage, however to humanity, their time while greatly limited, their future was infinite.

And so, on this day one boy moved forth, for humanity.

With each of his breaths, with each step he took, and with each subtle movement of this child, Zhi Qi sheer chaos.

And with his movement onto the battlefield, above him, a God's aura laid boundless. And before the immensity of God, no right-minded individual dares step forth, the world freezes.

Times of war, ill-fated however, to all here right-minded none were. Here in the eternal emptiness we call space, within the treachery of war, to think. To be right-minded would only incur harm upon one's fate and so think? None did.

For those that live past times of war, the feeling of victory they feel not, but a feeling much more sinister, a feeling evil even. A feeling that slowly eats them up, like a bug running across one's back, or a shiver on a warm Autumn night, their mind dissipates into chaos, entering the lair of insanity. To think while engaged in war, none shall ever.

A war ran on bloodlust, hatred, love, and greed, none shall escape the game of death some dare demean calling it something as lowly as war.

With a childish grin upon his face, Zhi Qi forced his way through the outer lines. And with each movement of Zhi Qi, space tore, time lost all meanings, and with each swing on Zhi Qi's fist, one fell dead.

And as martial's died, Zhi Qi grew closer, ever so closer, to a battlefield true. The battlefield composed of warriors great, the warriors that he had heard of in his mother's stories. Those tales of grandeur, those tales of Martial God's creating and destroying with a simple movement.

To witness such a spectacle he came here, no! Within Zhi Qi felt it, a feeling deep within, it called him, it had brought him here, somewhere deep down within him, something lusted for battle, it lusted for blood, and chaos. It called him, it called him to rise above all this world had to hold, and truly become something worthy of being dubbed God.

A chaotic reckoning, the horns sound out, commanding armies of few. War although a place where none think, and although a place where all act on a whim. In such times of war, muscle memory is king, to train an army to respond to sound, unconditionally, to rule an army, and to control an entire nation without their knowing. In times of war, those that take extensive acts towards the act of brainwashing one's own species are king.

For there to be any structure in war, it could very well be the chance ones nation needs to rise up and bring victory to their species.

A war structured, at such a thing, Zhi Qi laughed, and spoke, "To bring order even within chaos, do you not fear God's wrath?"

Within his blood boiled running rampant, to create order within a battlefield, that in itself was chaotic, and at such a thing Zhi Qi's childish smile turned into one triumphant, as once more he a four-year-old child with no knowledge of martial arts moved forth, to decimate all within his path.

With his head to the Heavens above, and within his ever so small palm, a sword of one dead held tightly within.

Charging in once more, Zhi Qi forsook all thought, becoming something no longer human, a wild beast, and to kill his only command."

And from here the elder stopped, and taking a look to the sky, he smiled lightly before continuing, "This boy although small, although insignificant, and although ignorant, in times of battle, Zhi Qi, stood the brightest. And to fight Zhi Qi, was akin to a primordial ocean making its attack against the indomitable mountains, and with each step, they take forward they move two steps backwards. For towards them an attack two times greater than their own is launched back.

Within the battlefield, Zhi Qi gained the title of, Young Demonic, for his inadequate and abnormal war tactics.

Across the fields of war, it was documented. A young demon reigns God, when the demon awakens from its slumber, our men we are sure to lose. When this young demonic awakens, the war grows weary, from this little mole, pitfalls lay everywhere, and within each he lies waiting.

To trick the races of countless, to gain complete rule over the battlefield, where the demonic rises next? None know, however when he does, all we know is blood will be shed, whether it be ours or theirs only time will tell.

Eras passed, humanity had died, and here an estranged laugh rang out, ...."HA HAH-AHA!" Upon the highest cliff, above all life, a man stumbled to his knees, and spoke, "5000... 5,000 long years, after all this time it's finally mine, Zukk belongs to humanity." Yes this man, he was Zhi Qi, once more a mere human set the bar higher, for any human to exist for 5,000 long years, never before had such an occurrence appeared.

Zhi Qi, the pride and ambitions of mankind, it was him that they prayed for. It was him they put their wishes and hopes in and for him to become an overlord humanity's wishes come true.

However, their joy lived short. As in life, nothing is fair, Zhi Qi, a being that was never meant to be, for he the bastard child between a human, and a God.

To live so long, to gain such power, it was his birthright, it was his right as a demi-god.

A being Taboo can only wait upon that foreseeable day where they step past the boundary entering a world beyond their own. God's wrath they shall incur. God's wrath they shall feel torment. Under God's wrath these beings taboo shall experience pain, hardship, and death for the first time.

Within the eternal book of time, none have ever been recorded to have survived, the wrath incurred by a God true.

A plague manmade destroyed all of life as it was known and so, humans where cursed, cursed to be nothing.

From the sheer chaos God's wrath is incurred and boundless his aura rises. At this time, all cease their movement and take a look upwards, wherein the vast emptiness of space, thunder more crazed, supreme, and chaotic strikes down.

However, God supreme, his wrath never limited by mere laws, those fighting this war, were not the only ones affected, for all across the world, across each star system, all life, all beings, and all species, awoke and looked up to the sky, for across each star system thunder ran rampant, crushing mountains, swelling seas, and dissipating entire star systems.

A world in chaos, at this moment, all beings incurred heaven's punishment.

In the clouds, a face materializes, its eyes completely empty, and it's facing a mere skull, what they saw before them... The materialization of something eerie, something uncanny. The face of God, the materialization of God's wrath.

Death lingers in the hearts of all, forcing his way deeper and deeper, destroying you from the inside out, firstly he takes things from you that are replaceable, things that are meaningless really, however then he takes not something, from near you someone disappears into the unforgiving hellhole known as death.

Wrath, hatred, chaos, and hard-ship. God, will Zhi Qi become it? Or will his effort fall short? Will he be rendered nothing but a mere human daring to enter the game of Gods? Or will he rise higher than all?
