章節 2: The day Gotham City disappeared from the map
Today was a dark day on the island of Gotham City, perhaps the darkest day this prosperous city has ever had.

The president of the United States announces the withdrawal of Gotham's status as an American city!
Gotham City from tomorrow (January 15) will no longer exist on the map of the United States.

"Now let's hear the opinions of political experts and social experts on the decision of the American president" the journalist's voice sounds from the big holographic screen.
Batman looked at it with disgust and anger, he couldn't help but grab an object and throw it to the floor, he wanted to hit the table and punch the walls. He wanted to vent his anger somewhere, but he had many things to do, he couldn't let his anger consume him now.
"This president is crazy! How can he simply exclude a city from the map as if it were nothing! "Robin said angrily, but he lacked Batman's self-control, throwing some valuable pieces to the floor.
"Master Damian, I would appreciate if you didn't throw these vases in this place, go there and try not to destroy the place," Alfred said in his calm tone, as usual, indicating a place away from the big computers.
Damian Wayne just snorted and grunted a little more without leaving Batman's side. He was only 10 years old, not long ago that he had gone to live with his father and become Robin, he had no emotional attachment to Gotham City, like Alfred and Batman.
However, Damian was still angry at the US government's neglect, as if dismissing Gotham City as if it were some kind of prostitute you pay to not see again the next day.
"Master Bruce, will you want to start the broadcast now or will you wait a little longer?" Alfred asked as he took the hot teapot brought by Katherine Johnson, who was his pupil and successor in the duties of following helping Batman behind the scenes.
"Let's start now. Invade the live broadcast of the President's speech. "Batman spoke in a cold voice, but his expressions remained the same, that is, deadly expressionless.
The president was giving his second speech that day, now talking about the disease that was causing dozens of deaths in both the United States and several European countries.
"Should Master Bruce and Batman appear at the same time on the broadcast?" Asked Katherine who was fiddling with the computer while Alfred was wearing animatronic equipment on his body.
"Bruce Wayne will have an emergency meeting at Wayne Enterprises to decide what will be done from now on. In the meantime, Batman will interrupt the president's statement live, "Alfred said as he finished placing the equipment.
"Understood," said Katherine, activating two separate screens to control everything more easily.
"Dick is calling," Damian said looking at his cell phone. Apparently he must have already called his father and Alfred, and none of them answered.
"Don't answer it," Batman said without turning to Robin. After the live broadcast, Nightwing would understand Batman's position on this subject. Damian shrugged and hung up his cell phone and communicator. Batwoman, Batgirl, and Batwing were also calling when Damian turned off both the phone and the communicator.
"Master Bruce, will you stand or sit?" Katherine asked, already ordering the intelligent robots to position the cameras.
Batman did not respond and only went to the place with less ambient light and stayed there. Katherine understood what her master was trying to say, so the smart robots took the cameras there.
"Let's go live in three, two…" Katherine said as she typed the commands for both programs.

"As we have said before, we are doing extensive research on this new virus and soon we will have results to show to the public," the president said calmly and apparently patiently, Of course, this was a rehearsed answer prepared by his press officers.
The journalist crowd in the conference room was huge, besides the American press, there were several journalists from all over the world, everyone was passing this information to their respective press agencies.
There were several screens at the top of the auditorium showing the official broadcast of the presidential speech when suddenly all the screens went black and the high-tech cameras were suddenly turned off.
"What's going on?" Everyone was wondering agitated, could it be a cyber-attack by terrorists?
"Isn't this Batman?" A British journalist said in surprise as she saw a holographic image right next to the president of the United States.
When everyone thought that the cameras would not work again, all cameras returned to normal. Soon everyone was filming this holographic Batman and the president's various security guards scouring the place behind the holographic device to prevent Batman's actions.
The Batman in the image seemed to be in a dark place as if in some dark alley, giving it a dangerous and oppressive air.
"Gotham will not be unprotected even if the government has abandoned its citizens," Batman began to speak, his voice deep, but he could not feel any emotion floating. His voice was projected throughout the atmosphere of this press conference.
"We are not abandoning citizens, the military will take citizens away and to a safer place. It is very suspicious that this new virus has hit Gotham city harder than elsewhere, so it needs to be emptied… "The president began to speak, in fact, one of his presidential advisers was telling him everything through the device of communication he had in his ear.
"Gotham is my city," Batman went on talking as if the president of the United States were just an insect by his side.
After saying that Batman's hologram disappeared, but the content of his message was transmitted to the whole world.
Gotham City would not be unprotected.

You should know that there will be two MCs in this fanfic. Batman is an original character, Aisha (from the synopsis).
