章節 555: 555. Attack on General
Alexander gave the answer to what the thing asked.
"Well, I am angered because of what you did. By the laws of equivalent exchange, you took away that woman's womb. But, my wife used her magical powers and brought it back.
"Everything was fine, but then, somehow her new womb also disappeared. Now, tell me, how is this acceptable? Wasn't it just your ego that made you do that? Didn't you violate the same laws of equivalent exchange?" Alexander asked him.
The thing couldn't answer him. Just as if it knew that what it did was wrong.
Alexander continued. "I am not here to interfere with how you work but you forced me to come to you. You are merely a simple deity in the grand order of the omniverse. You are just a simple deity responsible for maintaining a line of things. But, what you forgot is that you are still a deity.
"What is dead may never return to life. That is a simple fact for humans. But, when they do human transmutation, they don't do it because they are after some knowledge. They just want their loved ones back. But then you go and take a toll from them for something they never wanted in the first place.
"In fact, what a normal deity should have done was to simply ignore such transmutation. Simply tell them that what they are trying to do is not possible and if they still want to learn the truth then ask them what they are ready to give up for it. That would be a fair equivalent exchange. Because they will be able to choose what to give up for the amount of knowledge.
"You had taken the toll from that woman, now whatever I do, you will not have any say in it," Alexander talked in length.
"There is still a reason why I removed her new womb." The thing spoke.
"Do tell me," Alexander asked.
"Her womb that I took away still exists in this plane. Everything I take exists with me. It is still connected to her main body and feeds off of her energy. So, if you were to put a new one in her, it would create trouble for her own body. The only way for her to sire children is to take her womb back from me and then you heal it." The thing explained.
Alexander nodded. This was acceptable. "And what price do you have for it?"
"Equivalent exchange. That is the basis of the Alchemy and Alchahestry," it replied.
"So you want another Womb for the womb? Well, I can give you ten if you want." Alexander offered jokingly.
"Hehe, no no... it must come from her."
Alexander shook his head and turned serious. "Okay, I showed you knowledge of Omniverse. What are you going to exchange for it? I can take your existence away according to the law of equivalent exchange,"
The thing was taken aback. "I do not know how this can be done. I have nothing to give you. You are a being higher than even me."
"Haha, then just promise me that from now on you will ignore any human transmutation done by kids. You will also give a chance to reconsider their decision to good people and simply punish those evil ones as you do right now. Just give them worthless knowledge from the gate of truth and take away their body or limbs.
"This is a small request for the vast knowledge I just gave you," Alexander said.
"Alright, I accept this bargain. I will do as you have requested from now on. But, can you connect me to GOD? I always wondered what was the reason for my existence. I always wondered if there was someone higher than me. But you gave me this answer. I want to talk to my creator and serve under him as I should." It asked.
"Hahaha... you are already serving him. Believe me. Okay, I will connect you to him. But you will need a name. Let's just call you True Alchemic God, in short, TAG." Alexander offered him.
Tag nodded and waited for Alexander to connect him to GOD. Alexander was happy that now team GOD had another member. Maybe this universe had gone unnoticed or unexplored till now. That was why Alexander was unable to find any heavenly angel or demonic being. There was just one deity that itself was created because of collective human consciousness.
Before Alexander could call god. Tag asked him something. "Tell me, why did your gate of truth look empty? Why was there no inscription on it like everybody else's?"
"The answer is simple. My knowledge is much vast and of a higher level than yours. Knowledge that you didn't know. We are in a dimension created by your own thoughts. The gate of truth shows up by taking the nature of the person into account and also your own knowledge.
"So, what happens when my nature can't be read and you don't know about my knowledge? You then get a blank gate. However, if a person simply doesn't want to learn the truth, he can still have a blank gate. Now, let's end this chat and call father."
Alexander looked up and called God. "Father, this is another deity I just met. His name is Tag and he wants to meet his maker."
Alexander looked at Tag and nodded. "Keep your end of the bargain. I hope you return the womb of that woman and the limbs and body of the Elric brother."
Tag nodded but also told him something. "I will. The woman can have her womb back, even Edward Elric can have his limbs back, but Alphonse needs to come on his own to get his body back. However, the Elric brothers are a part of bigger things and I recommend you do not meddle in their journey. Not until they know the whole truth about the world they live in and their father."
~Who is their father?~ Alexander wondered.
With this knowledge, Alexander left the dimension. Alexander returned to the real world and found himself back inside the train bogie.
He took out his phone and called Olivia. "Oli, I have dealt with him. You can give her the Womb now."
"Good, see you later, Alex," Olivia replied from the other side and hung up.
*Sigh*
"This world is so weird and complex. I guess I will increase the speed of my plans. There is no reason for people to die for nothing." Alexander decided.
*BOOM*
Suddenly the train started stopping with a loud explosion. Alexander also lost balance due to the strong force. But he didn't fall and simply hovered a millimeter in the air.
"WHAT HAPPENED, DOBBY?" Alexander inquired.
Their train had derailed somehow after the explosion and they were now stuck in the middle of nowhere.
"BOSS, we are under attack. There are some masked men with guns. They have destroyed the engine." Dobby informed him.
"Okay, don't kill anyone. Just catch them for interrogation." Alexander ordered.
"Yes boss," Dobby ran out.
Alexander also followed to see who it was that was trying to attack him. In the broad daylight. Catching the attackers was as easy as lifting hands. But, when they were about to question them, all of them somehow poisoned themselves and killed themselves.
Good for Alexander, he simply reversed the time and they were back alive. Just before they were about to break their teeth and kill themselves, he knocked them unconscious.
