章節 41: Joker
There was one more schedule trial for this year. The Joker came around before the trial. Tony was gone because he had one last exam that he had chosen to put off so he has more time to prepare and he was the spade so he was just back up anyways and none of us needed him to go.
"I'm coming but I'm not participating in the trial today, you can all deal with it yourself." Joker said.
"We don't have anyone to cover your position though and the battle always starts off with the Joker then goes to Jack and then to the Ace." Miya said.
"Nonsense you have a spade and a 10 either one can replace me."
"Tony is busy he has an exam so he won't be there and even if he could it wouldn't be until later." Sydney said.
"That's why you have your 10, her name is Megan isn't it."
"She will not be participating." Hunter snapped at him.
"She doesn't have a choice. It my last week as a royal and that means I no longer have to care to what you say king or not. Therefore Megan will battle."
"They will kill her. She doesn't know how to fight." Logan was protesting, everyone was. They didn't know what my ability actually is and what I could do and neither did I.
"Ok, Hunter will you call my fathers please. Let them know that I'll be participating in the trials today and tell them where it'll be at." I said strongly. I knew I could fight and am able to win although I choose not to use my abilities that doesn't mean I don't have any.
"Good, the 10 agrees with me. Plus it'll be nice to see what she can do and why she was given the position as a 10. Along with why all of you seem so found of her, she pretty but she doesn't look like anything special. I'll get to find out today though so I won't have to guess anymore." Joker said.
Everyone else seemed way more worried then I was. I knew how to use my abilities to protect myself and fight at least a little bit.
"Sydney, will you come with me. We are going to teach Megs how the trials work and how to actually defend herself. Logan call a car we are going somewhere that is close to the trial meeting spot since there isn't people there. Megs time to learn how to use your abilities instead of hiding them." Hunter said. Logan nodded and called for a car. Miya grabbed and Sydney both left and changed and then so did the rest of us. The Joker waited downstairs in the main room.
"Hunter, I'll be ok. I promise. I know how to use my abilities, John taught me... Incase a situation ever arose that I needed to be able to protect myself in, it's all basic things but I can do it. The only thing is I might lose control, and not be able to stop my abilities." I said when we were changing in the room.
"Megs I don't want you to do this. What if you can't defend yourself as well as you think and you get hurt. In worst case you get hurt and lose control."
"Hunter, I'll be ok. If I lose control I think you can bring me back. You have done it before, your how I learned to gain control when my emotions were heightened, so I was thinking maybe you would be able to help me regain control again."
"Ok, why do you want me to let John and them know?"
"If I lose control and you can't bring me back, I know they have a way to."
"Okay." I had a blue sports bra on under my see through shortsleeved mesh crop top. Then I had on black leggings with two blue stripes down each side. Hunter has his black basketball shorts with a blue stripe down the side along with his black bro tank. We went down to main lobby. Sydney and Miya we're back, we all had the same colors on and were basically all wearing the same things it was our school colors so we had to represent. Long was wearing almost the same thing as Hunter as well. We all had the same black and blue shoes on as well. The car had just arrived when we entered the main lobby. We all walked out together and get inside and the driver took us to the outskirts where the trials battle would take place.
