章節 35: Beach
We were going to have a fun time at the beach. Hunter and I were holding hands and he kissed me right as my mom's boss noticed me.
"Oh my goodness, Megan is that you." I turned around to see her boss and daughter who was just about a year or two younger than me.
"Hi ma'am, how have you been."
"I've been great, I didn't even recognize you. You look amazing and I wouldn't of ever guess it was you especially in those clothes." Hunter understood it was really a complete and more of a criticism since my family wasn't really able to afford this nice of stuff.
"Yes, my girlfriend is gorgeous. I just took her shopping for them today, since I figured she should wear things that help complement her natural beauty." Hunter said.
"Oh Megan, looks like your finally growing up. I was worrying you were going to die alone."
"No, I've just been waiting for the right person I guess."
"So what's your name?"
"My name is Hunter."
"What is your score and tier?" Hunter looked wt me.
"That doesn't really matter."
"Well he clearly has a decent score since he can afford to buy you things like this, but I'm sure he's not all that high seeing how he's with you."
"If only she knew." Hunter whispered so only I could hear. I smiled at him.
"If you really want to tell her you can, but scores don't mean anything to me."
"Your right as of right now my score doesn't matter."
"Well ma'am we are on our way to the beach, are you goi to join us. My uncle and his friend are already there with my mother."
"Well I was just planning on dropping my daughter Julia off, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stay for a little while."
I smiled and the four of us walked to the beach together. My mom looked a little surprised that we all came to the beach together. She also looked as shocked as my uncle and John when they actually saw what I was wearing. I took off my shoes and got my lacrosse ball and took the stick out of the bag as soon as we got there and I took Julia out onto the beach to practice catching and throwing the ball. I we did multiple drill where you were moving and throwing and catching the ball. She dropped the ball a lot so I kept giving her pointers on how to catch that way it wouldn't bounce out as often after she caught it. We practice for at least an hour before she got to hot and decided she was done. I was hot as well when I got back to the picnic table where Hunter and my family was at.
"So I see you have all meant Hunter." I said
"Yes, I'm happy you meant a friend at school." My uncle said.
"Your uncles right, I'm not going to lie I was starting to worry about you kid." John said and laughed.
My mom was talking to her boss and I heard her say goodbye to her and Julia.
"Those two were rude." Hunter said. My uncle and John looked at him and nodded their heads in agreement.
"So kid, when did you start doing your hair and dressing like that."
"I normally don't but we went shopping today since my bathing suit is old and happens to get this."
I saw my uncles eyebrows raise.
"You know your mom won't be happy when she finds out how much you spent." John said.
"You mean if, it's not her business to know how much money I spent anyways." Hunter said.
"So now your spoiling our little girl?"
"John, that does look like what he's doing."
"John. Uncle. Can you please stop this."
"What so now we aren't even aloud to worry about you and ask the guy who will be staying with us any question?" Uncle said.
"Yes Uncle that exactly what I'm saying."
"No, you can both ask me whatever you want and I'll tell you."
"See Megan he doesn't care so neither should you." John said.
"So Hunter what is your tier?" My uncle asked.
"Uncle, since when does that matter?"
"Since you brought a boy home." John said.
"Hunter, don't have to answer that." I said.
"Megs, it's ok. If they want to know I understand. I'm an Elite."
My uncle and Johns eyes both got a little bigger and they raise their eye brows.
"Lexi, can you go rub back to the apartment for me, I think I left something and I don't have a key. Come to think of it I don't remember if you locked the door or not." My uncle said.
"Oh my goodness your right I didn't lock it and we left the seasoning didn't we."
"Yeah I think we did."
"Ok I'll be back soon." My mother said as she rushed off. John and my uncle looked back at Hunter and there eyes started to glow.
"So let's see how strong you actually are." John said, as lasers started to fit in his hands. While my uncle jumped at me with his hands on fire. Hunters eyes glow and he quickly put up a shield around both of us. The laser my john shot at him bounced off and fired back at him and it had thrown my uncle back onto the ground. Hunter put the shield down around us and put it around my uncle and John, then started making it shrink. Until he was on they both were forced on there knees.
"That's enough." I said. Hunter looked at me.
"You could of just asked my score, I'm supposed to become an 8.3, although right now I'm only an 8. I'm also the king at our high school and have only ever lost one trial match, but that was back in middle school." He took the shield off.
"Good, you reacted how we wanted."
