Glass shattered as Wu Genji shot the ceiling lights, leaving visibility to a minimum. She ran forward, and as Yuan Ning followed closely, running away. Shouts roared behind them, and soon after, they were being chased and followed through the alleyway, towards the night market. 

Yuan Ning pushed carts and food on the way to obscure the path of their pursuers as they dashed toward crowded places. 

They ran into a store, swapping jackets before escaping through the employee entrance. 

When they left, they slowed down, blending into a new crowd, pretending to be a couple taking a night stroll. Wu Genji released a breath. "We lost them." 

A car stopped next to them on the street, and a few men had come out. 

"Shit," Wu Genji spat. She grabbed Yuan Ning's hand as they dashed forward again.
