In Shrek Academy, there was many wonders and mysteries within it. After all, it had continued standing for over twenty thousand years! Even empires like the Heaven Dou Empire and Star Luo Empire twenty thousand years didn't last that long, and they were even chased out of their home continent.
It was very impressive, since it was a school and not something like great ancient clans that had existed far longer than Shrek Academy. Like the Clear Sky Clan, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.
Sadly however, for over 10,000 years, the three clans had gradually declined with the lack of Limit Douluo powerhouses within their ranks and began to fade into public rumors.
Most would only appreciate the Academy's many wonders, its resources, and its prestige. Though some would wonder about what mysteries and secrets it lies within it.
Xiu Ye was of the latter side as he reads a book. He was sitting casually in a wooden chair, surrounded with thousands of thousands of books shelved all around him, surprisingly neat and tidy.
It's been several days since his little outing with Na'er.

Moreover, it was said that every century, one of the tribespeople would awakened a martial soul that makes them of wielding the power of the four ultimate elements.
It was a very powerful tribe, especially during that time period. Sadly however, they were massacred by the Spirit Hall twenty thousand years and there was no records of any survivors or living descendants being found.
Xiu Ye let out a sigh of pity as he closed the book and placed it on top of a pile of books, which contained various topics and great events that happened throughout history, but they mostly told the same story he had already read.
'This is getting me nowhere. I only managed to find the information about the Flame Emperor and the massacre by accident; ripped out pieces of pages that was hidden inside of numerous books. It was a pain searching for them, thank god for Structural Analysis, but even I didn't feel that it was worth it when I eventually pieced them together–because there was too little information.'
'This entire library is filled with thousands of years of knowledge; from unwritten history to numerous cultivation tips and advices written and recorded by the most brilliant scholars since this academy only accepts geniuses. Even when using Structural Analysis to get every information in this library, there's just too much knowledge to sort through and some were just gibberish that I had to filter out–that's just too much work.'
'It has given me a lot of answers but also now left me with a lot more questions as well.' He groaned, frustrated and depressed by the realization of his ignorance.
The Soul God Cultivation Method he thought that was overpowered, was nothing more than a auto cultivation method when his asleep. Sure it would temper his body and his soul power is more pure than regular water bottle you'd get from big cities, but it would solely depend everything on Ryūjin Jakka to do it all.

He remembered about Na'er's words to him back at the amusement park and shook his thoughts out of it.
It wasn't true, he was relying on them...every once in a while.
It wasn't like he was doing anything dangerous anyway, so he didn't understand Na'er's worry for him.

'I have no interest in that little Dragon Graveyard realm, I couldn't loot their remains after all. Especially since Wulin, Gu Yue and Na'er would be there.'
'Unless....I could handle Wulin and Na'er, bribing them with food should be enough. Gu Yue however....even after three years of being friends, I still can't understand her. His eyes narrowed. 'But the most important thing is finding out if there's anything hidden in the Star Luo Continent, specifically the Star Luo Royal Family. Huo Yuhao, or also known as Dai Yuhao, was a part of that family.'
'I don't know what's the exact relationship Huo Yuhao had with the Dai family. The soulnet nor the Shrek Great library is much of a help. Even my knowledge is useless. History has changed so much so I can't rely on my meta knowledge about the series anymore.'
Xiu Ye rubbed his temples as he thought more about what he was going to do for now and the foreseeable future. 'I have to check on my company, make sure that no one tries to steal anything from me, again. Buy more materials for project V and my other projects. Brutally bea– train my friends again. Talk with the teachers and elders of Shrek, discuss some stuff with them... Just do the usual.'
'All the while waiting for when the Holy Spirit Cult attacks again... Since I remember that it was during this time period, if the timeline somewhat continues as normal, then they'll show up once more during the outer court students' semester final exam.'
He let out a deep sigh and slumped against his chair.
"So many things to do...Yet, I have no idea of how I should go with it..."
"Why are you sounding like an old man? Though with how some of your hair is turning white, I can't say I'm quite surprised." Xiu Ye quirked his eyebrow. He turned to his right to see his assistant/apprentice holding a book to his chest.
He looked average, with short red hair, similar colored eyes that had a pair of circular glasses resting over the bridge of his nose and a slender build.
"....Yuanen Yehui, good morning to you too. I see that you're still cosplaying during work hours."
"Hmph. And I see you still brooding about something pointless, again." He said with a twitching eyebrow.
Xiu Ye shrugged and replied. "Well, it's good to brood about something in life. If you're always so happy and cheerful, then you wouldn't be able to understand more about the world. Life isn't just black and white after all."
"It's both, I know and understand. You know I sometimes brood and/or sulk around in the corner while reading something dark and edgy." Yuanen said with a straight face as he put the book he was into a bookshelf and took another book next to it. "It is in my nature after all."
'Here we go again.' Xiu Ye rolled his eyes. "You don't need to have a fallen angel martial soul to like "Tale of the Dark Lord", "Dark Bloody Vengeance of the Count", or even "The Chronicles of the Black Swordsman". I read them, heck, some of the people I know read them. You don't have to be so embarrassed about it."
"..." Yuanen lowered his head, his cheeks flushing red.
