Two girls with cat ears and tails were running through the corridors of the underground laboratory of the Naberius mansion.
"Nee-sama."
The younger one, with white hair and golden eyes, asks the older one, with black hair and golden eyes like the younger one.
"Yes?"
"Is Draco-nii going to be all right? He's not going to die, is he? That one-san said she was going to save him, right?"
Kuroka didn't respond immediately. She, like her sister Shirone, hoped that the dragon who had come to rescue them might come out alive.
She prayed to God, however much pain he was causing her because of her condition as a devil, for the safety of her hero.
But she wasn't sure that Draco would make it out of there alive. Kuroka had felt it, that nauseating energy that man gave off.
He was too strong. There was no way Draco could beat him.
If she could use Senjutsu and Youjutsu right now. At least she could have stood up to that man.
But Kuroka couldn't use it. Her beloved "king" had already made sure she couldn't use it with the medicine he had force in her.
She was now using all her willpower to escape with her sister. Kuroka could only place her hopes in the blue-haired woman she had met on the road as they fled.
Soon they were out of the Naberius estate.
"It is done. The nightmare is over."
Kuroka said as she looked outside. How many years had passed since she had last seen it?
She held her younger sister tightly in her arms, holding back the tears that threatened to well up.
Suddenly, Kuroka became alert. She sensed a power, no, two distinct powers, and both far stronger than the man who was fighting Draco.
She turned and saw two magic circles. One of them was crimson and had the letter G in the center. Kuroka could feel immense destructive energy coming from the circle.
The other circle did not give off that destructive energy, but the demonic power it gave off was just as frightening as the previous magic circle. It was green and had the letter A in the center.
"Get behind me, Shirone."
Two men came out of the magic circles.
The man who came out of the crimson magic circle was a tall man who seemed to be in his early twenties. His crimson hair, the same color as the magic circle, was shoulder-length, and his blue eyes were especially charismatic.
Like the previous man, the second man seemed to be in his early twenties. He is a handsome boy with light blue eyes and green hair combed back.
Kuroka could sense the two men emitting a mighty aura. She did not stop shaking and was terrified, but still, she stood in front of her younger sister.
The role of the older sister was to protect the younger sister.
That was Kuroka's role.
"What are two nekomatas doing here?"
The crimson man spoke. He was looking at the two sisters with curiosity.
"You're wrong, Sirzechs. They are not Nekomatas. They are Nekoshou."
At the words of the green-haired man, Sirzechs opened his eyes wide. Disbelief was written all over his face.
"Did you say Nekoshou? Are you sure about this, Ajuka? They weren't extinct?"
The green-haired man, Ajuka, sighed.
"Sigh, I thought so too. It was not until a few weeks ago that a confidant alerted me that a member of the Naberius family was acting suspiciously. I did some research and found traces of this race at the scene, and if we add this illusory barrier..."
"Experiments at Nekoshou... And seeing the power this girl exudes, they were quite close to their goal."
Sirzechs finished Ajuka's words.
"Create artificial Superdevils. Those bastards are moving again..."
Ajuka and Sirzechs had stern faces.
"We must keep this quiet. It will be a disaster if this reaches the ears of the rest of society, it will create panic among the masses." Said Sirzechs.
"But... What do we do with these girls?"
The two looked at the Nekoshou. They were looking at them with vigilance, fear, and distrust.
"The eldest is a reincarnated devil, and it seems she's the only one who's been through the experiment. What's more, she occupies two bishop pieces. The little one is still a pure Yokai," Ajuka informed Sirzechs.
"The younger one can go to my sister's peerage, but I can't do anything for the older one. My sister has already spent one of her bishop's pieces, and this girl takes up two pieces."
Sirzechs looked at Ajuka. His friend, and rival, was one of the smartest in the underworld, and he was sure that the current Beelzebub could find a solution for her.
"And what right have you to decide the fate of these two girls?"
A cool, cold, undoubtedly female voice came from inside the mansion.
A delicate and beautiful woman came out of the mansion. She gave off a cold aura that froze the atmosphere.
"Tiamat."
The two devil kings looked at the woman who came out with a dragon in her arms. Although the dragon was bigger than her, Tiamat carried it effortlessly.
"So, what should the Nekoshou do?" Sirzechs asked her, who had smiled at Tiamat again.
"It's simple, let them say what they want to do," Tiamat answered.
Tiamat then looked at the two cats.
"What do you want to do?"
Kuroka looked at Tiamat. She saw that Draco was fine and felt relieved inside.
"I want to go with Draco-nii!"
"Shirone!"
Shirone spoke before Kuroka could say anything. Wasn't it the big sister's job to make the crucial decisions?
But she wasn't against what her sister had said. The other two devils' plan was to separate the two sisters, and that was something she wanted to avoid unless there was no other option.
On the other hand, she felt that going with Draco was the best option she could have. Kuroka remembered the determined look of the dragon as he shouted at them to flee.
The thought of him willing to sacrifice himself for them only made her heart race.
"It is decided, you two are coming with me."
Tiamat smiled and approached the two Nekoshou.
"Don't you take our opinion into account, Tiamat?"
Sirzechs told her with a smile that wasn't a smile.
"Since when do I need your opinion?"
Tiamat gave him back a smile that wasn't a smile.
The two looked at each other intensely until...
Clap, clap, clap!
"Let's go, Sirzechs."
Sirzechs looked at Ajuka and nodded. The crimson magic circle reappeared under his feet, and he disappeared.
Ajuka didn't disappear right away and stayed a little longer.
"He has become much stronger."
"Yes." Tiamat nodded.
Ajuka looked at the dragon in Tiamat's arms for a few more seconds before it disappeared.
Seeing that the two had gone, Tiamat transformed into her dragon form.
She placed Draco on her back carefully.
"Get on my back." She said to the two sisters.
They both looked at each other.
"Yes."
