Bumangon siya at agad-agad na pumasok sa banyo. Sinuka nya ang kinain ng nagdaang magdamag hanggang sa pakiramdam niya ay buong bituka, atay at baga niya ay nailabas na niya.
"Abril, anak? Okay ka lang?" Katok sa kanya ng ina.
Ipinikit niya ang mata at nagbilang hanggang sampu. Sa ganoong paraan ay inaasahan niyang mawawala ang hilo. Salamat sa Diyos dahil effective ito.
Dali-dali siyang nag mumog at lumabas ng banyo only to see her mother standing adjacent.
Matulis ang mga mata nito at sinuri siya mula ulo hanggang paa. Pagkatapos ay pinakatitigan siya nito.
"Ayos ka lang, Abril? Ang putla-putla mo." Bakas ang pag-aalala ng ginang sa anak.
