章節 7: 7. Clubs
Jay arrived at school early, still feeling angry about his bad luck in his morning ritual.
"Jay!!" Jay heard Bren shout. He turned around and saw Bren running towards him, looking rather elated.
"What's up Bren, you look happy", asked Jay in a curious tone.
"Well, this coming afternoon after class dismissal, all the clubs will have their activities. One thing they will do is to recruit members. Guess what? I'll join the sports club, hehe", Bren was happily talking.
"Ohhh".
Jay didn't heard of such things, so he was surprised to hear Bren talk about it. Thinking of clubs, he has no plans to join one yet. The main reason is because he doesn't like to, and because he doesn't had one in which he is suited to join to.
"You should join too, Jay".
"I don't wanna".
"How about the sports club?"
"Nope".
"Then what club do you like?"
"None".
Bren stopped talking further. He figured out that Jay doesn't like such events due to his quiet and laid back personality but he still tried convincing him.
They both entered the classroom and heard the other students talking about which clubs will they join.
As they are waiting for the bell to ring, Tyson and his group of other three boys entered their room. Some girls, upon seeing him immediately blushed while being entranced by his appearance. This made Bren almost spit in disgust.
"Ahem, hello everyone here in Aquarius. Those who doesn't know me, my name is Tyson Montgomery. I am here today to try inviting everyone one to join the Science club", Tyson began speaking. "As some of you know, the Science club is one of the biggest club here and was divided into groups. For me, I already joined it and became a part of the Astronomy group. Haha, nothing feels better than gazing at the stars at night, isn't it?" Tyson continued while maintaining his cool.
"Fuck that guy, does he thinks he is some boss?" Bren whispered to Jay. Jay still stayed silent.
"Well guys, see you soon. I hope to meet you all as Science club members this afternoon".
After speaking, Tyson and his group walked out from the room, intending to go to the Scorpio room.
After they left, some of the boys made noise, clearly irritated from the presence of Tyson a while ago. On the other hand, few of girls are still smiling. It can be concluded that the Science club will grow by a large margin after a day, all because of Tyson's invitations to the first year students.
Jay turned to Mark and asked him what club will he join.
"I'll be joining the History club", Mark simply answered.
"History? Damn, that's boring", Bren is the one who talked.
"If you want Jay, you can join me in the Sports club", Natalie jokingly said.
When Bren heard Natalie, he was surprised.
"Sports club?"
In reality, Natalie is a sports lover, and at the same time, an academic topper. Mark, although not so sporty, he is very great at playing volleyball. His main interest though is learning history and philosophy. Bren, is just Bren, one who likes basketball, and at the same time, proficient in learning and speaking other few foreign languages, which other people don't know.
The class ended and almost all students went to join their clubs of interest, while a few went home. Jay is one of those who left early to go home.
