章節 22: chapter 22: "FLARE"
We were walking towards the river that we had passed not long ago to be able to clean the little girl, while we walked with her in my arms and tried to talk to her and ask her a few questions, but she just looked at me and didn't answer anything to ask her. After a while she hid her head in my chest and stayed calm, she may have done it so as not to ask her any more questions or to make her feel safe, I won't know that.
I only wonder how long she would have been here alone in the forest, and without anyone accompanying her, exposing herself to all the dangers she could have encountered while alone, it is already a miracle that we only found her hungry and she was not hurt, she was alone. She doesn't want to talk at the moment, or she doesn't know how to talk, ... no, she definitely understands the words because she understood what I was saying a while ago.
Well, after all we are just strangers to her, but if we give her a little more time she will eventually open up to us and start talking to us, just give her a little more time, also when I saw her for the first time, she became known to me, I had seen her before, but when she was older and not like this now that she is small, but we are going to leave it for later because we are already reaching the river.
Yuujiro: "Oh here it is, the water looks clean so there is no problem to bathe it here," I said as I watched the river that became visible on our path until we arrived.
Yuujiro: "Look small, we're here now we go to the water so we can get the dirt out of your body," I said to her, and turned her head to where I was pointing and looking at the river, but apparently that does not like me for that he clung harder to me and hid his head.
Mikumo: fufufufu, ... apparently she doesn't want to leave her side or doesn't want to bathe.
Yuujiro: Well, that will be a problem, you know, ... give me the cleaning utensils, I'm going to enter with her.
I took the cleaning utensils and made myself to the river and started cleaning it, it cost me a lot, I thought I would have a little help with this, but my partner just sat under a tree watching everything with fun, so I cleaned it in the river alone, it cost me a little, but she didn't give me any problems.
After cleaning it, she had a huge change in her appearance, dirty and messy hair now glowing a red color like mine, with a pale skin that was still a bit thin, but that is not going to make a problem, since you just have to eat and recover your strength to be able to stand alone. The little creature that I had in my arms was beautiful, I dressed her with another one of my t-shirts since she obviously did not have clothes of her size, she will have to wear that one until when we pass through another city. When I finished dressing her I told Mikumo that we were ready to continue with our path.
Mikumo: What are you going to do with the girl?
Yuujiro: Of course we're going to take her with us since we can't leave her here, much less look for her family, "if she has one," since no one in her right mind would leave a little girl in the forest, therefore I don't think anyone is looking for her. I also don't think she wants to let me go since she has me tightly grasped with her hands hahahahaha.
Having said that to Mikumo, we resumed our journey to the village of the sun that was passing the mountains, but now we were with an extra person in our group.
It took us two days of walking to reach our destination. In these two days the little girl has been with me all the way and has not left my side. The good thing is that she can understand my words but she doesn't want to speak, she just nodded her head to say yes and no, and that's how I knew she could understand us. I was carrying her in my arms since I had nothing to give her and that she covered her feet, and I couldn't tell her to walk since she could get hurt. I asked her several questions to which she was answering me little by little. One question I asked her is to ask her name, what was her name, but apparently I didn't have one, or she didn't understand that meaning, since I was only stared at and didn't answer the question.
Yuujiro: "She" I said pointing towards Mikumo and I slowly said her name "MI-KU-MO". She looked at me without understanding what she was doing, then I pointed to me and I said "YUU-JI-RO", then pointed towards Mikumo again and I told him the name, then came back to me and told him my name again, and apparently she already understood.
I've been thinking a name for her and I had one in my head. A few days ago I had thought that this little girl had already seen her somewhere and that she reminds me of a certain person, but when I saw her a long time ago, she was already big. After pointing at me, I pointed at her with a small smile on my face and said; "FLARE", that will be your name, I said to her, it was not by much, but I could see that for a second she gave me a smile and made me understand that I was happy.
After walking for a while longer, we find ourselves facing a huge wooden door that had a sign with the carved name "city of the sun".
Near where we were standing we could see several giants living their day to day, the giants passed in front of us without realizing our presence, they came and went from one side to another, I could see several giants doing their work to several people from giant adults, children, the elderly, even their pets were giant, the houses were huge, the fruits and food were also giant. We were looking everywhere, when at last one of them saw us that we were standing at the entrance and began to walk towards us with very strong steps that made the earth on which we were standing vibrate.
