"Young man, please wait for a moment, the Official of this cultivation forces tournament would like to speak to you."
The guard on duty approached Ace and stopped him at the city walls.
Having arrived, Ace kept his sword unsatisfied that he only had a few hours of freedom to enjoy.
"May I know where the Official would like to speak with me?"
Despite being worried about his disciples, Ace maintained his calm and asked patiently.
"Sorry, but I do not have access to classified information such as that. Please follow me as I lead the way."
"Guard Daemon, you're dismissed. I can speak to this man on the city walls itself."
The official arrived through a space portal he opened up.
The guard who received orders took his leave immediately and returned to duty.
"Official, may I know where you've been waiting for me? If it wasn't something urgent, I'm sure that you wouldn't be here after sensing my arrival from the nearby pavilion."
"You're quite observant for someone your age. Since this is the case, I'll cut straight to the chase. All the participants of the cultivation forces tournament are in grave danger right now, including your disciples."
That explains the unsettling feeling I was feeling on the way here, Ace thought to himself.
"Thanks for the compliment, but since you've sought me out urgently while keeping this as classified information, I would appreciate it if you let me know how I can help."
"That's precisely the reason I've been looking for you."
The Official replied as he took out a talisman and activated it, forming a barrier around them that can prevent others from eavesdropping.
The Official then spent a few minutes explaining the entire situation to Ace, as detailed as possible.
"Please lead the way to the closed portal."
"I understand."
With a quick series of hand seals, the Official made it such that the barrier activated by the talisman will follow them.
"How did you do it?"
Ace asked in surprise as the Official turned towards him and explained the reason.
"Anyone who has cultivated the mental energy to the Origin stage will be able to control the talisman to their own will naturally."
After they arrived at the portal, the projection image of a handsome and elegant man manifested before their eyes with the remaining energy.
"Young master, please forgive me for doing this, but I need you to enter this dimension right away. You're the only one who can seal that beast or even tame it for yourself."
"How am I supposed to trust you? You addressing me as a young master doesn't mean anything."
The man hesitated for a moment before taking out a broken spear made of lightweight wood.
But when Ace saw the broken spear, memories rushed into his mind.
Back then, when he first interacted with weapons, the spear was his first choice.
The spear was broken by him when he was much younger.
He had thrown it away out of frustration that he couldn't master the spear before interacting with a sword for the first time.
He had long forgotten about the spear he held no feelings for, but seeing it in the hands of someone could only mean that he knew that person.
He was related to this man. He might not have a clue as to how they're related, but this spear itself explained a story behind it.
"Young master, please trust me. I do not have the slightest intentions of harming you. Just remember that the life of your disciples is in your hands."
The man said before taking his leave, the spear he was holding vanishing with him.
"Ace, how are you related to that man?"
The Official who had been a spectator the entire time asked.
"I have no idea either, but the spear he was holding is related to my past."
The Official nodded his head as he took out a talisman from his spatial ring.
"This is a dimension teleportation talisman of mine. If you manage to find the perfect opportunity for me to teleport into the dimension, you can activate this talisman to teleport me immediately. But if you fail to find the opportunity to teleport me into the dimension before getting into danger, activate it to release an attack equal to my full strength."
The man explained as Ace took over the talisman in gratitude.
"Nirvana Inheritor, please save the other geniuses if possible. Their lives might not mean much to you, but they're of paramount importance to the cultivation world."
The Official added on as Ace agreed to do his best before stepping into the portal. The moment he stepped through the porta, however, a question popped into his mind.
What does he mean by Nirvana Inheritor?
Ace was about to turn around and inquire when the suction force from the portal pulled him in, closing up again.
The Official was left alone in the room, outside the portal. There was nothing much he could do besides praying for Ace's success.
The Official left the room shortly after, locking the entrance and exit doors so that no one else besides him can leave the room.
However, he neglected one fact. How is he going to know when Ace leaves the dimension with the other geniuses that he saved?

Ace arrived in the other dimension through the portal, which he had opened up.
The moment his feet landed on the ground, his sword was held by him in his hand.
After sensing around the area with his mental energy, Ace lowered his sword while keeping his guard up.
Tall trees competing for sunlight were blocking his vision, but with firsthand knowledge that chaos was currently raging in this dimension, Ace knew that what he was only the tip of the iceberg.
He had to locate his disciples right now before even gathering the other youths who would end up doubting his identity.
He might be a sect master, but the rules had forbidden any of them from entering. If he tried to gain their trust through this form of communication, it would only lead to distrust.
"System, are you able to locate my disciples and their locations immediately."
"Yes, would you like to know the locations of your disciples?"
This function was activated by him when he made a breakthrough into the Martial Lord realm, but never would he have expected the need for this function to arise.
Back then, he had turned a blind eye to it since he had the communication system provided by the system.
But it seems that he had come to the wrong conclusion back then. The communication system would not help him to locate his disciples through geographical features alone when on unfamiliar terrain such as this dimension itself.
"Yes, please give me the coordinates of my disciples."
"Coordinates are being generated by the system…"
The next moment, a virtual map of this entire dimension in 2D was shown to Ace by the system.
The map represented him with a red dot and his disciples with green dots as based on the legend.
They're to my west. Ace then followed the map and got onto his sword, flying above the trees while heading west to locate his disciples.
"Alexander, two more demon beasts are invading from the north."
"More are coming from the south!"
"There's a large group of demon beasts invading us from the east and west as well!"
While the cultivators who weren't injured were willing to help out with the defense, the large number of demon beasts invading were leaving them helpless.
Most of the cultivators who weren't injured were the leaders with strength enough to hold off a demon beast alone at the very least, but against the incoming army of demon beasts, they were at a disadvantage in terms of numbers.
