章節 49: The Fates
Muli na namang nag-iba ang kapaligiran. Napatingin ako sa isang templo di kalayuan, at napansin ko ang iba't ibang kulay ng threads na nagglow sa loob ng templo.
Lumapit ako doon, at napatingin sa tatlong matandang mga babae. One had a spindle, another had a staff with which she points to the horoscope on a globe, and the last had a candle and knife.
Napatingin silang tatlo sa'kin at tumigil sila sa paggawa. The three old women studied me carefully, and finally, the three of them spoke.
"The Last Elusinian Mystery is finally here."
The one who held the spindle introduced herself, "I am Clotho. One of the Moirais or Fates. We are ones who create the fate of beings. We also created your fate."
"I am Lachesis, the one who measures how long would ones thread of life be," sabi ng isa na mayroong staff.
And lastly, "I am Aisa or Atropos. The one who cuts the thread of life of one being. I believe you are sent here by your unconscious self, and to seek answers on your identity."
Tumango ako, at nagtanong, "Bakit ako narito?"
Clotho smiled, "The main reason that you are created is to prevent the war, to save the universe."
"What is my fate?" Tanong ko sa kanilang tatlo. They both looked away from me and started doing their things again.
Lachesis answered, "We do not know your fate. We were gone when you were born. You do not have a thread in all these threads. However, the golden threads of the Olympians react with you."
"What do you mean?"
She answered, "When one of the Olympians vanish, a part of your soul will do too. Kapag lahat ng Olympians ay nawala, maaaring mawala ka rin. Hindi namin alam, but your connection between the Olympians is strong."
"Ano ang dapat kong gawin?" Tanong ko sa kanila.
Aisa walked to one thread, it was of a black color and it had red and black shadows around it, "You want to save Thanatos."
Tumango naman kaagad ako. The old woman smirked, "You can save him and bring him back to life kahit mamatay siya. Pwede mo namang ipagpatuloy ang mga plano mo. You have all the power and control, Melizabeth."
Nagkunot-noo ako, is she telling me to continue seeking revenge?
"It's your choice, Melizabeth. But remember you only have two choices: to save the world, or destroy it," wika ni Clotho. "Natunghayan mo na ang nangyari noon, bago ka pa bumalik sa oras na ito. Tandaan mo, Melizabeth. Bakit ka bumalik sa panahong ito?"
"Your fate is in your hands," dagdag pa ni Lachesis.
Sabay-sabay din silang bumulong, your fate is the world's fate.
