'Which normal house is surrounded by two police cars and an ambulance?' Xue Lin pondered. Her head was giving her a red signal.

"Something must have happened." She stopped the engine and unbuckled the seatbelt. "Let's get out and check."

The police officers noticed them but didn't stop them. They heard a faint cry coming from inside.

Imagining the worst, Xue Lin strode inside. 

She saw a woman wiping in the living room. There was a police officer and a man in a white suit sitting beside her.

"Madam Zhao?" she called out.

The woman wiped her tears and looked at her.

"Who are you? What brings you here?" the man in the white suit stood up and interrogated.

"I'm Xue Lin. I'm a Psychologist. Madam Zhao Shu called me a few days ago. Today I had an appointment here."

"Miss Xue Lin, is that really you? I'm Zhao Shu." Madam Zhao broke into tears once again. "I think I was too late."

"What happened?" Xue Lin asked urgently.
