章節 83: Team Instability
Team Blazers has now gathered up in their residence's living room to talk about a serious topic which will likely determine the futures of some team members.
"I already heard about everything from Dalor and Anna beforehand. So Eason, tell me about the situation from your perspective." Says Sia
"I am not angry with Dalor over the fact about what he had done. I'm just angry that he tried to be emotional as a leader when it came to making decisions that determined life or death of his team members. If that garaerian had escaped, she wouldn't have stopped hunting gremorians.
She might have even found an opportunity to assassinate one of us when we would have let our guard down for the sake of revenge. "
Eason continued,
"So, he isn't fit to be a leader. Sia is more suitable for that role."
He then looked over at Sia and continued,
"Although you're naive but when it comes down to making important decisions for the sake of the team, you're always decisive."
"Then, what about yourself? From what I see, you're more suitable for that role."
"Because I'm selfish. Leaders can't be selfish. They can now and then be selfish but not when it comes to making important decisions determining life or death about his/her team members."
Sia was dumbfounded and so was everyone else. She didn't expect such a perfect response from Eason.
Sia sighed and said,
"If your selfishness is excluded, you're very suitable for leadership role. In fact, you're right. What Dalor did was wrong but that's because we've been too spoiled inside gremory land. We've never experienced true war. In fact, it's only after this small incident did I realize this fact. If I was in Dalor's place, I would've done the same too."
Eason intervened by saying,
"But you will correct it. The problem is that Dalor won't correct his mistake unless he's pushed to the limits. As far as what I've understood, he's a coward. It's going to be very hard for him to correct his mistakes. I'm just too mature, so I'm an exception."
Eason continued,
"You may misunderstand but I just said my point so that you won't drag on this topic. No one is flawless. Only experiences can help you to correct yourself so that you could be more flawless. Sia, you could correct those mistakes. The reason I was harsh on Dalor from the very beginning is so that he won't try to reclaim back his leadership role. This is something that was always on my mind ever since I found out how fastly I was becoming involved in this war."
Sia was dumbfounded yet again and so was everyone else. Even Anna was shocked to the extreme. She couldn't believe about how many times she've been shocked about her boss's younger brother.
"W-wait a second. How long have you feigning?" Asked Karim
"Since I discovered traces of Garaerians in Kakao City."
"You're very talented as an infiltrator." Said Romia. Her eyes were sparkling as she said her statement.
"Phew..." Sia breathed in and out heavily.
"If this is true... I guess you made the right decision." Sia muttered but everyone heard her.
Sia says,
"If this is the case, we shouldn't drag on what we're to talk about since there's no point to it. Anyway, I already talked about this with Romia. I will be the new leader. Eason, you're the new vice-leader. Before, Dalor was the leader and I was the vice-leader. No one has objections, right?"
Eason, Anna, Romia nodded without any delay. Karim was shocked for a while but he nodded reluctantly due to his intuition in the end while he was glaring menacingly at Eason. Dalor had to nod reluctantly as he no longer could try to gain back his leadership role.
Sia laughed and said,
"This calls for celebration. I will tell the administrator about this matter."
"In that case, tomorrow will be the celebration day. Today, I've decided to go have fun by myself with Karim." Says Eason
"W-what do you mean? Who would want go with you?" Says Karim
Eason took a step and arrived right beside Karim. He placed his hand on Karim's shoulder while smiling like a holy knight. Karim looked towards his gently smiling face.
Karim scurried away as if a creature had licked him on his cheek. He couldn't help but have goosebumps after having witnessed the new version of Eason.
"W-what the hell are you scheming bastard?"
"I've been so cold hearted to grasp what everyone was thinking. But that ain't the case anymore. Let's have men's party today. Dalor is also included but it will take a while for him to recover. So you're my first target to pacify."
Eason said this while he clasped together his hands smiling gently just like a holy knight.
It was at that moment for the first time Karim felt like running away. He wouldn't even run away in front of a monster who could kill him with one blow but today he would. His intuition was telling him that he was about to get trapped in a never ending trap.
Karim activated his avasci and ran away as he crashed himself towards the walls.
BOOM
"W-where are you going darling? Oh my dear hot blooded brother."
Eason then ran after Karim.
-silence-
It was at that moment everyone heard a sofa being slightly moved and someone gulping. It was none other than Dalor. He had a pale face.
"Dear hot blooded brother? No way. What have I gotten myself into?" Said Dalor
The women couldn't help but have cold shivers run down their spines including Romia and Anna despite their character.
