"You done? Let's go home." I asked Irene as she dusted off her hands.
"Okay." She said with a smile.
We flew back home and was surprised to hear silence when we entered and saw no one playing inside. I checked to see the backyard and saw Father sleeping on a makeshift bed with the chipmunks sleeping beside him.
Mother saw us and motioned us to sit down with her.
"How's your trip?" Asked mother.
"Its all good, mother." Irene said.
"Well, since its all good. We're leaving the day after tomorrow." Mother said and it surprised me.
Since they're leaving, it means that they approved of this place as our home.
"Don't worry mother, we'll visit you every week after this week." I said.

Calendar in the FT world is almost the same with Earth calendar. The only difference is that, there's no concept of months. Only weeks and days are available. There are 4 seasons in this world though others do not experience intense winter where snow were falling.
The calendar works as follows:
Spring starts from March to May, Summer starts from June to August, Fall or Autumn from September to November, and lastly, Winter from December to February.
Every season consists of 3 months or in FT world, 12 weeks. For example, 7th week of Winter in FT world is 3rd week of January to Earth World. Another example is, 10th week of Fall in FT world is equivalent to 2nd week of November.

"Isn't it a hassle to you? Travelling for a visit?" Mother asked.
"Don't worry mother, your son's a genius. I'll take care of it." I said making Irene chuckle.
"Looks like I really raised a little devil." Mother said and chuckled.
"Also, Somnus told me to tell you that you're the new head of Shadows if ever we've accepted the place you're going to settle down." She said.
"But-" I tried retorting but mother interrupted me.
"Don't even try to refuse. The Shadow members will be coming here in a few days." She said as I sighed and gave up, since I passed the throne and responsibilities in exchange of freedom to Somnus, I could at least accept this as his older brother.
"Fine." I said as I raised my hands in defeat.
After talking with mother for a little bit more, its time for me to continue working, I asked for Fenrir's location via the system.
[Fenrir is almost near the dropoff point so you can go and do your thing.] It said as I nodded.
I then quickly went to his lair and saw Fenrir and lots of livestock surrounded by the wolves. The livestock were shaking in fear.
I told the system to transfer the livestock into the private farming space. A portal opened and Fenrir only grunted once before the wolves made way and the livestock started going through the portal. After entering the private farming space, Fenrir and I followed after them.
I then led them to the animal pen and separated space between livestock. I then led the chicken to their coop. I didn't feed them yet since I haven't harvested the wheat. The livestock's food can be corn, wheat husk, and etc., depending on the animal.
After settling them down, I had Fenrir ask his subordinates to watch over them as he nodded. I then started doing practice on the way where I kept on using Thunderclap and Flash continuously without stopping.
After the 15th jump, my legs started feeling the burden so I stopped and I'm also near so I didn't risk it and walked on the way home.
When I entered our house, it is still mid-late afternoon so I quickly harvested the wheat and separated some to feed the cows, chickens, hodras, horses, and goats
After separating livestock's food, I saw that there are still lots of harvested wheat and after removing the wheat grains from the husk, I can use the wheat as hay and feed it to the cows and the husks as chicken feed.
After that, I came inside and saw that Irene have already prepared dinner and they are already sitting down.
"Go on and wash yourself first." Irene said as I nodded and quickly washed myself. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day.
After cleaning myself up, I went down and saw that they are finished eating already.
"Father, you're so slow, we already ate lots!" Kagura said as I pinched her cheek.
"You're going to get fat if you eat too many." I said.
"Its fine! It is Mother and Father's cooking. They are delicious!" She said as I chuckled while Erza kept on pinching her waist.
'Am I getting fat?' She asked herself
Oblivious to what she's thinking, I then started eating myself as Father and Mother went up with the chipmunks while Irene is washing the dishes.
"Can you handle yourself tomorrow?" Irene asked with a worried tone.
"I'm going to be fine. Why don't you take mother and father on a tour to Alvares and on the way back, buy me these seeds..." I said.
"Okay, I think mother and father needs a break. You'll handle the fort by yourself tomorrow, right?" She asked.
"Nah. Fenrir's going to be a guard tomorrow. If ever there's someone who'll really cause trouble then I guess Fenrir is going to have some snacks." I said as she giggled.
Hearing her giggle while helping her I stared at her face for a second and saw my beautiful wife's face.
The same person who can't cook a single porridge can now cook difficult dishes with ease. The same person who broke a plate after washing the dishes, now didn't need to cast enchantment on the floor so that the plates wouldn't be broken even after falling to the ground.
The same person who accepted my love and rightfully engaged to me. The mother of my daughters who cares for them, the same way I do. The bearer of my child right now. I just couldn't help but say...
"Thank you." I softly said as she raised her head and looked at me confusingly.
"What?" She asked.
'Looks like she didn't hear it even with her improved senses since she's focused on cleaning the dishes.' I thought.
"Thank you for being with someone like me." I said as she smiled.
"You know, I'm lucky. My fiancee betrayed me and poisoned my Dragon partner. My father and mother died to let me escape and live. The Dragonification took place, I have lost my mind.
When you defeated me, I have already gave up on living, I've lost my everything after all. Everything I swore to protect, I lost them all. I was prepared to be slain by your blade but you didn't give up on me.
I thought that what you did is a stupid thing but now, I can see that Karma is real and destiny decided to repay you for all the good things you've done. At first, I thought of killing you but then my father taught me not to be ungrateful to those who helped you especially when someone saved your life.
After living with you, I got to know more about you, I got interested of your stories, I got curious of your childhood and your reasons as to why you left your home town. Soon, I've realized that I felt comfortable with you. That comfortable feeling just solidified the next few weeks and then it happened. A year after, I gave birth to my little angel. She became a beacon of light for me.
After all the ups and downs I've experienced, you were there, I could say I'm much more luckier for having you in my life. Thank you, Noctis... for loving someone like me." She said as it left me stunned for a second before regaining myself and I gave her a long kiss before separating.
That was the first time, first time, I've received Irene's heartfelt words and it surprised me. All this time, I thought I am the luckiest for having Irene as my wife, not only is she caring, and loving, she also stayed with me in my darkest times. And now, Irene's heartfelt words resounded in my mind and can't help but chuckle.
'This is fine. Living and doing whatever you want with your family is the best thing that can ever happen to yourself.' I thought and continued cleaning the dishes alongside my loving wife.
