The first match came to an end. Teacher Wang Yan called us all except the unconscious Yuhao and Wang Dong for a meeting in the conference room. He wanted to discuss about our battle strategy for tomorrow. While talking, the topic of Spirit essence came up.

Teacher Wang Yan: "In order to plan well, we all need to know each other's strengths and weaknesses. We all know Bei bei's, Nan Nan's, San Shi's, Xiao xiao's and the other seniors, but we are a bit unfamiliar with Shen Yin's and Cai Tou's essences. I know that Shen Yin has three essences but I don't know the full extent of their power. Can you explain?"

Shen Yin: "I understand. I'll reveal it all since our teamwork and friendship depends on how well we know each other. As you all know I have three essences, each of them are different. A tool spirit, beast spirit and a body spirit. I'll explain my Divine eyes first. Unlike Yuhao's Spirit eyes, I can analyse and comprehend things easily in the form of statistics and ranking. It also improves my vision but there's a large gap between mine and Yuhao's vision, mine is weaker.

Next is my Dawn Sky Wind Glaive, you can just call it a Sky Glaive. It was originally twin daggers but after getting my third essence it evolved and took on this form. Other than the obvious changes, even I am unsure of it's full power since I didn't have the change to fully explore it due to the recent continuous events. It's thanks to Xuan Lao, I am now quite swift in using it now though.

Finally, it's my third essence. Absolute Wind element from a wind spirit. As the name suggests, I have the ability to manipulate wind and overpower other wind element possessors unless their also have an ultimate element."

Ma Xiao Tao: "That is a lot of information to digest."

Teacher Wang Yan: "But that just means, his strength is guaranteed. Next is Caitou."

3rd Pov

Yuhao : "Teacher Wang Yan, I'm here." *enters the room

Cai Tou : "I have a stick of....CRUDE CIGAR!!!" *Brown stick appears in his palm

Yuhao: "Eh...?"

Everyone: "HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Everyone were laughing their mouths off, even Shen Yin had a hard time concealing his. You can see the edge of his mouth curve up in an attempt to stop his laugh from coming out.

San Shi: "AHAHA! Cai Tou, you are killing me!"

Cai Tou: "Hey! You said that you won't laugh!"

Yuhao: "Senior Brother, this is...."

Bei Bei: "Oh Yuhao, you woke up. Teacher Wang Yan is going through our battle strategy for tomorrow. We were talking about Cai Tou's spirit ability. No wonder we hardly see it, it's very unique."

Cai Tou: "I said that you don't have to pay attention to my spirit ability. Who made me show everyone and laugh at me!!" *sheds a bit of tears in embarrassment

Teacher Wang Yan :"We are not laughing at you. It's just that the essence is just too unique."

Teacher Wang Yan's eyes sparkle in an instant, "What?! Increase one's mental strength by 10%?! How Long?! How many can you make? What are your other abilities?" He threw an avalanche of questions at him.

However everyone couldn't hold it in and burst out laughing. The only one that didn't was the excited Teacher Wang Yan who was too immersed in his interest in Cai Tou's ability and effect.

After suffering from such, Cau Tou went into depression and used his arm to lean against a wall. "Wuwu....Why do I have such strange ability? I should just die," but he immediately cheered after hearing Teacher Wang Yan's high praises along with the seniors' compliment.

"Cai Tou make some more and let's try it out."

"Okay...."he reluctantly agreed, "I have a stick of....." before he even said it, the laughing marathon began. "You guys! I'm never believing you again!"

Shen Yin's Pov

After that, everyone dispersed. I was walking down the hallways when I released the matter about the pin which was used up to summon me. I turned back hoping I could catch up to Yuhao. I was about to open a door leading to the main hallway until I overheard a talk. I leaning against a wall at the side.

Someone issuing a challenge to Yuhao in a very arrogant manner. I may not recognize his voice but I'm sure that it's Xiao Hong Chen from the opposing school and Shrek's greatest obstacle in winning the competition. Obviously, Yuhao roasted him back before walking away. He happened to open the door that I was close to.

"Yuhao! Why did you stop me? We should take care of that guy!"

"That person isn't so simple. He is at least a Spirit King."

"What?! He should be a backup member of the Moonlight Royal team."

"If the backup members are this strong, looks like the Moonlight Kingdom is much stronger than we anticipated."

Not waiting for them to realise my presence, "That's correct."

"Wah?!"

"Brother Yin, since when did you get here? Were you listening?"

"Yes, I wanted to give Yuhao something and accidentally overheard the challenge. It seems that that person is really interested in you."

"....no mean to be disrespectful but the way Brother Yin puts it, makes it seem like you mean it in another way."

"Really? How?"

"What did Brother Yin want to give me?"

"You used the pin to bring me here last time so I'm here to give you a new protection charm," I handed him my newly created charm. It was another pin.

"Oh, thank you. But since we're in a competition, will it be fine? Won't it activate if I get attacked?"

"The pin only activates when you are in life-threatening danger. The judge should be able to save you before then but if you feel insecure you can take it off and store it somewhere."

"I see! Ok."

We went back to our respective rooms ro rest and prepare for tomorrow. Naturally, I also returned to my room to train and meditate. Lei and Feng were supporting from behind. I broke through and reached rank 46. It wasn't much but it's still progress. At this point, I might appear desperate since I don't know when I'll be called out to fight. I don't want to risk changing the plotline by losing. Shrek's glory also rests on my shoulder. I don't want to disappoint them.

Next Morning>>>

The first match will be Shrek against the team from Yun Luo school. Unlike the previous match, it a 1 vs 1 type of match. If the opponent loses, another team member will take his place to continue the match. This will go on until all 7 members of the team is defeated or one side admits defeat.

Bei bei wanted to go up but Teacher Wang Yan decided against it, "Yun Luo school is a spirit guide school. They are weakest against defence spirit masters. Xu San Shi will go first!"

San Shi: "Eh?"

Teacher Wang Yan: "Hold up as long as you can! the longer we can keep our members hidden the better."

San Shi: "Hehe! Leave it to me!! I'll take care of all 7 of them. Look forward to my match."

Knowing how this match will end up, I went back to the hotel to continue healing senior Ling Luo Chen. It was lucky that the hotel we stayed in was close by so I didn't have to walk very far. After some time, I finally reached her room and knocked the door. "Senior sister Ling, it's Shen Yin. I came here to check up on your injuries."

After a moment of silence, I heard a big thump and rushing footsteps before the door was opened revealing a posture perfect senior sister, "Come in."

We both sat on the bed as I used my Divine eyes to examine her body. 'She appears to be recovering well.' A while later, I notice her cheeks turned slightly pink. 'Does she have a fever? It did not come up on my Divine eyes though.'

Ling Luo Chen's pov

'Wah having this extremely handsome junior stare at me so much is making me nervous. This is so nerve-wrecking' even I know there's bound to be a blush on my face.

"Eh senior sister, your face is turning pinkish. Are you having a fever?", he leans her forehead against mine. Our faces are now close together. 'Wah! So close!!' I turned my head to the side to put some distance between us before I explode, "It's nothing. I'm fine. Just get on with the healing."

Despite being the one to say this, I felt resentful and ashamed of myself for using such a cold tone. 'Ah!! I'm an idiot!!!! What am I a girl talking to her crush for the first time!!! Well, technically I am but! Junior brother, I didn't mean to!'

"Alright. I shall begin." Shen Yin stood up from the bed and brought out his glaive. He held it facing me and released a golden light. The pretty light flew towards me. I felt a warm and comfortable feeling wash over. The pain from the poison didn't hurt as much anymore. 'This is his healing ability. It feels so nice. Maybe better than the feeling when I merged my essence with Yuhao's.'

Shen Yin's POV

Afterwards, I went to check up on senior Ma Xiao Tao and Dai Yao Heng before returning to my room to restore my used up spirit energy. In the evening, Teacher Wang Yan gathered everyone to talk about something.

Xu Sanshi: "Eh? Teacher Wang Yan, where are we going in such late hours? It feels like it's too early for us to go party." He said it in such an annoyig tone that I can see a vein pop out from Senior Nan Nan's head.

Teacher Wang Yan: "Tonight, there will be an auction in soul spirit weapons. I will bring you guys to find a suitable soul weapon! How does that sound?"

Instantly the mood dropped down.

Wang Dong: "We don't need any soul spirit weapons..."

Teacher Wang Yan tries to convince them that soul spirit weapons aren't as useless as they think, "I know that all of you are against having soul spirit weapons, but times have changed. In this tournament there are very few pure spirit master schools.

Base on my observations, about 80% of the teams that have advanced are equipped with soul spirit weapons. Soul Spirit weapons are to be used by spirit masters. This is the change we are experiencing. We need to do all we can to move forward." he explained

Teacher Wang Yan tried making an example out of the recent incident that was etched into their hearts, "If we had soul spirit weapons, we could have prevented that disaster from happening. Think about it, what would happen if the original 7 Shrek devils have defence soul spirit weapons? Would we have the same tragic ending?"

Cai Tou: "Absolutely not, even if it was just a class 5 defensive soul spirit weapon. the damage would have reduced by at least 60%."

San Shi: "60%?!! Then they would still be alive!"

Then for the final push, Teacher Wang Yan went on to explain on how the amount of spirit beasts have been declining. Soul spirit weapons are practically the next best thing. Once humanity develops more soul spirit weapons and advance more. In 10,000 years, spirit weapons will definitely become a core component for humanity.

'That's correct.' To the me, who knows the story, I know how the people of this world will grow and how the future of this world will look like/ It was truly a high tech utopia for humans. I bet the technology from my previous world will pale in comparison, even though I can't remember how it was there.

Bei Bei was the first one to agree to this. No sooner, everyone else gradually open up to the idea of possessing a soul spirit weapon. All except Wang Dong.

Wang Dong: "I don't want to have a soul spirit weapon! Is that so wrong!" He burst out and went back to his room. Yuhao tried to talk to him but was treated coldly. Eventually, he gave up and we all excluding Wang Dong went to the auction.
