Harefn couldn't help but smile as he walked away from Ciel he couldn't help but smile as he felt warm inside from just talking to the boy but he also couldn't shake off the feeling that something was up with his butler it seemed that it wasn't human and if Harefn were to guess it was possible he was either a vampire or some form of demon, as he kept walking and thinking about Sebastian he didn't realize that he had walked straight past his hotel room and blinked when he comes face to face with a massive window as he looked outside. As he was still lost in thought his mother Morticia found him and she couldn't help but worry for him as she made her way towards she quietly said " ma bichette whatever is wrong? Harefn quickly turned to look up at his mother and just smiled softly before replying " nothing is wrong mother I was just thinking about that boy butler," Morticia looked at her son a little confused about why he had shown interest and when she was about to ask her child he had already started walking back to her room and asking her if she was coming.
Morticia couldn't help but smile as she watched her child walk so elegantly that it would put any girl to shame and any boy to fall in love with him, she soon cleared her thoughts and followed her son back to their room where her husband Gomez was waiting for them. Gomez upon seeing Harefn made him smile he was finally going to be teaching his son some theory on magic so that when the time comes he will be prepared and won't fall for any traps especially from the headmaster of Hogwarts, no matter what people say to him he never trusted the man especially after he saw the state his son Harefn was in. Harefn upon seeing his father looking angry thought he had something so he quickly made his way to him and looked at his father before saying " papa are you mad at me for coming late?" Gomez blinks before he quickly takes his son's shoulder and answered back with a no which made Harefn smile, they then quickly went to the table where Harefn saw his siblings sitting and it seemed that they too will be taking lessons.
Gomez and Morticia smiled as they watched their son sit next to his siblings and Gomez started teaching them very quickly while Morticia was knitting, Gomez first talked about the unforgivable spells which caused Harefn and his sibling to become very intrigued. As their father talked Harefn asked a lot of questions about the unforgivable and why they were called as such as they can easily be of use in terms of the medical field and even integration if needed, Gomez was surprised that his adopted son didn't see light and dark but instead saw everything as good and evil he even mentioned how some of the light spells could easily turn dark if used incorrectly.
Gomez felt his pride growing and even Wednesday and Pugsley charmed in and the lesson went on for a good 5 hours after that, while the children were talking about the unforgivable they heard a knock on the door and Harefn apologized to his father and siblings before making his way to open the door to find standing in front of the door was nonother than Ciel. Everyone in the family just smiled softly as Harefn couldn't help but wonder why the boy was here and he was about to ask when Ciel cleared his throat and asked in a calm and collected manner " Lady Harefn I was wondering if you would be willing to accompany me tonight you see the Queen is holding a ball and I was asked to attend" Harefn couldn't help but blink in shock, Ciel just kept looking and while it looks like his calm and collected he did fear that Harefn would say no to him and he hopes upon hopes that he wouldn't.
Harefn turned to look at his father and mother who both smiled brightly at their son and just nodded their head they knew they just adopted Harefn but they themselves don't want to stop him after all their kids could do whatever they want as long as they keep their family in mind, Harefn upon getting permission turned to Ciel and invited him in before telling him he was going to get changed. Ciel just nodded as he step into the room and sits down as Harefn walked off to get into something more proper for the event, as Ciel sat he noticed the books about magic and quickly picked it up and spotted the page about a spell called Cruico and he couldn't help but say out loud how this would be helpful in his line of work. Gomez upon hearing such things become curious and quickly asked the boy what he meant, Ciel decided that it was no harm in telling them especially since he plans to court their son anyway he, after all, had no interest in marrying the girl his parents had chosen for him.
When Gomez and the rest of the family heard about what he does they couldn't help but smile and feel proud of Harefn for befriending someone like Ciel to the Addams family personality is everything and it's clear now that Ciel would fit into the family perfectly, as they talked Harefn finally showed up and Ciel couldn't help but blush at the sight. Harefn was wearing a long lace red dress with paired red heels and lipstick to match, Ciel was lost in the sight as Pugsley couldn't help but smirk as he quickly said "she's beautiful isn't she?" and all Ciel could do was nod his head. Harefn couldn't help but blush himself and quickly told Ciel that they should get going, Ciel nodded his head and he gets up before taking Harefn hand and they walked out of the room but not before Morticia says that she would like her son back by tomorrow morning.
Ciel just nodded in reply and as they walked down the hall and to the lobby of the hotel, to Harefn surprise everyone was looking at him and he couldn't help but feel proud and so he walked with sass and elegance. Ciel couldn't help but chuckle and when they got outside Harefn saw that a car has been prepared and Sebastian was waiting for them, Harefn smiled softly as Sebastian greeted him again and they hopped into the car and they drove off to the event. During that time Ciel would ask Harefn simple questions and Harefn would answer this went on for 35 mins and when they finally arrived Harefn become nervous but Ciel just took his hand and they step outside, Harefn become excited as they walked towards the open doors.
As they step inside Ciel was greeted and the speaker shouted " now entering Lord Ciel Phantomhive and Lady Harefn James Addams," Harefn could hear mutterings of disbelief that Ciel had invited a guy who loved wearing girl clothes and he felt like running away but Ciel whispered softy to him that it was okay and that he was lovely and to ignore the comments. Harefn just nodded as he and Ciel walked together and started talking to the guest of the party when the speaker once again announced the arrival of the queen, Ciel couldn't help but frown but then he told Harefn that they should get her royal highness and Harefn just nodded his head as they made their way towards the queen. When the queen spotted Ciel and Harefn she couldn't help but smile brightly as she made her own way towards and they come face to face Harefn quickly curtsy and said " your highness it's a pleasure to meet you," the queen just smiled as she replied back " what a polite young lady Ciel made the right choice on choosing you I approve of this relationship" Harefn and Ciel both froze none of them were expecting the queen to approve of this but she did.
Ciel and Harefn couldn't help but smile because they both knew if the queen approved and favored them then Ciel current engagement to Elizabeth Midford would become invalid and to their surprise, the queen quickly told them that she will arrange for the Midford family to cancel their engagement to the Phantomhive family and that the following morning Harefn needs to bring his family to her to write a new engagement plan, Harefn was in shock but he couldn't be happier because that means the queen saw him fitter to be by Ciel side then Elizabeth and while he did feel bad for the girl he couldn't help but smile. Ciel took Harefn hand and they walked away Ciel and Harefn both knew they just met but in their heart and soul they knew they were fated to be together and that even the queen saw this, as they kept walking around and greeting people Ciel happily showed off Harefn and Harefn was more than happy to be shown off as well since it made him feel special.
Though that special feeling was short-lived when he and Ciel heard a shout and Ciel quickly turned around to see his going to be ex-fiancee was storming towards him and Harefn, Harefn couldn't help but frown at how unladylike she was during the event and the event that was held by the queen no less. Ciel just sighed and greeted her rather coldly that shock Elizabeth, she became upset and started shouting at Ciel demanding to know why the queen had just told her mother that the engagement to him was to be canceled and that she had found someone more suitable to be by his side. Harefn grew annoyed until he saw her brother and parents quickly made their way through also demanding an explanation, Harefn not being able to take it any more quickly shouted " enough he doesn't own you anything now leave us alone" Elizabeth just frowned and turned her attention to Harefn.
She quickly shouted at him and started to cause a scene she even called him a homewrecker which he knew wasn't true since Ciel chose him before Elizabeth, the more she shouted the more annoyed both Ciel and Harefn got Ciel had told her to calm down multiple times but it just made matters worst and it didn't take long for a crowd to show up and see what was going on and they both could hear whispers. Harefn quickly told her to calm down and not to embarrassed herself and her family anymore and to everyone's shock, Elizabeth's mother quickly slapped him and told him a commoner with no name shouldn't talk. It seemed that the world went silent and time stopped when Harefn felt the slap and Elizabeth seeing her mother take the stand quickly grabbed Harefn dress and ripped it before laughing and saying that a boy shouldn't be allowed to wear female clothes and that he should be ashamed, Harefn couldn't help but feel a sense of dreed and he felt tears fall as she continued but the last straw for him was when she said his parents should be ashamed for raising a freak.
Ciel's eyes widen in horror at what she said before Harefn felt the tears fall fully and he quickly turned around and run away Ciel growled and shouted " Elizabeth how dare you and your family insult her like that I will be speaking to the queen about this" the queen at that time had come to see what was going on and saw the aftermath of what happened and what was said, the queen quickly told Ciel there was no need as she saw what happened and she quickly started yelling at the family and even slapped Elizabeth and her mother herself before telling Ciel to go and find Harefn. Ciel just nodded as he run off to find his crush and he shot Elizabeth brother a glare before mothing you will pay for this when he run past, Edward just looked down and he and his father were ashamed of how their family reacted and he swore he was going to make it up to Harefn as soon as he can.
