'ORION! ONYX! GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE RIGHT NOW! SOMEBODY HAS ME!'

"My name is Arthrall, and I'm currently on my way to fight some wolves. . ." I told him.

"That is hard to believe. That someone is out there to help us. . . I don't believe you. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to kill you. I feel like you are working under him. . ." The mysterious voice said.

Right when he was about to slice my neck, I heard a noise coming from my left and right side. All of a sudden the weight on my throat was knocked off, and I heard a growl and a roar. I rolled away from where I was standing, and turned around to see a halfling fighting with Orion and Onyx.

"Pin him down, don't kill him!" I yelled at the both of them.

At this time, Arialle came out of the tent also.

"Arthrall what is all that noise?" She asked, while rubbing her eyes.

"Honestly, I'm not to sure either. The noise is from a halfling fighting Orion and Onyx. They are winning, but the halfling just doesn't want to give up." I told her.

"A halfling? What do you. . . Arthrall stop! I know him!" She yelled after taking a look.

"Off of him." I told them.

'Just keep an eye on him though, I really don't trust someone that puts a weapon to my throat.'

They growled in reply. The halfling was just laying there, panting. Arialle ran over to him, and helped lift him up. He was actually about as tall as I am while sitting down. Orion and Onyx did some damage to him, because his clothes were all tattered from their claws and bites.

"Arialle?? What are you doing here?" The halfling said to her while looking shocked.

"I'm here with my party member, Arthrall. We were on our way to kill the wolves for a quest we got." She told him.

"I see, so he was telling the truth." The halfling stated sourly.

"You know I can hear you right?" I mentioned to the both of them.

"And your point?" The halfling told me angrily.

"You know I could always have my companions attack you again." I commented to him.

'Get closer to him, just enough to scare him.'

As I said that, Orion and Onyx slowly got closer to him. He started sweating, and backing up a little bit.

"Arthrall stop. Titus you also stop." Arialle told us both.

"But he is a freaking Necromancer isn't he? He has two compan. . ." He started to say.

"Shut up, I'm a Ranger. Can't you tell that my companions are pets?" I told him.

'Sorry for calling you two pets.'

{{It is ok, I understand why you did.}} Orion mentioned to me, while staring at him.

{{I also understand, well sorta of. Explain it to me later!}} Onyx then commented.

'Hahaha. . . I will later!'

"There is no way you are a Ranger! Ranger's only have one companion!" Titus said.

"Titus, he is one. I watched him become one, and he really does have 2 companions." She told him.

"But. . . But. . . How is that possible?" He then stammered.

"We don't know, all I know is that I can have 2 companions." I then told him.

He then looked at me, then looked at my companions.

"You mind calling them off me?" He then asked me.

"Sure, once I know you won't try to kill me again." I then told him.

"I won't! Look, I'm putting my sword away!" He exclaimed.

"Arthrall. . . Please!" Arialle asked me.

"Fine, but I still don't trust him!" I then told her.

"That is fine! Thank you!" She told me.

'Alright, back off. Just sit next to me, and keep a close eye on him!'

{{Will do!}} They both exclaimed.

"By the way Titus, he could have easily killed you." Arialle then mentioned to him.

"How?!? He is just a Ranger isn't he?" He yelled.

"Yes, he is a Ranger, but not a normal one. He was a Battle Ranger the moment he got evaluated. Also, his companions were going easy on you." She told him while sitting next to me.

"Oh my. . ." Was all he said.

"So, I have a question for you now Titus. Why did you try to kill me? You mentioned something about him. Who is him?" I then asked him.

"Well as I stated, I felt that you were working for a guy that called those wolves around here." He then told me.

"Who called them?" I then asked.

"I'm not sure about his name, all I know is that he is a Druid that wants something from around the town near here. You guys are actually about a day from it." He then told us.

"Arialle, did you know there was a town near here?" I turned towards her.

"Yes I did, but no one has been there in years. I thought it was abandoned?" She then asked him.

"It was, but the Druid came by about 2 weeks ago. Since then, he has been causing mayhem around these parts. I'm not sure about what he is looking for though." Titus the commented.

"Can Druids even do that? Call that many wolves?" I then asked.

"Depends on the type, but yes they can." Arialle stated.

"Huh. . ." I nodded.

"Has he attacked any others yet?" She asked him.

"From what I've gathered, he hasn't himself, but his wolves have. Sadly, the ones they have attacked, haven't returned yet. Which is why I'm here, to search for any survivors." He said.

"How many wolf packs are there?" I then asked him.

"Hmm. . . Around 20 or so." He told me.

My jaw dropped. . .

"How is that possible?..." I thought out loud.

[Maybe a Wolf King leading several packs perhaps?]

"Uh…"I started to say something, then stopped.

"What is it?" Arialle asked.

{Oh crap! Zoe, you should not have butt in like that! Now, how should I explain this.}

[Sorry.]

{It is ok, I just have to come up with an idea of how to tell him without revealing I'm not from here. . . Oh! I know what to say!}

"Umm.. remember when you found me in the forest." I looked at Arialle knowingly.

Arialle tilted her head as if knowing what I mean.

"I have bits of memories coming back every now and then. I remember reading about a Wolf King leading several packs just like the King of the Slimes I faced earlier." I told her.

"A Wolf King you say? How do you know it is a Wolf King?" Titus then asked.

"Yes! How else do you explain that many wolves running around, except by having a King with them. That is the only way possible isn't it?" I then asked him.

"That is very probable, but now we have 3 things to worry about." Arialle commented.

"Yes, you are right. First, the wolf packs, second the Wolf King, and lastly the Druid." I said to her.

"I mean, with just you alone. You could take care of the wolf packs and the Wolf King. I could help you with the Druid guy." She then commented to me.

"Are you guys nuts? I mean I know Arialle isn't, but are you?" Titus then asked me.

"No, I'm not, but I'm not going to let this Druid guy and Wolf King kill others." I then said while looking directly at Titus.

". . ." Was all he did.

"He isn't nuts Titus. He honestly could take care of it by himself. I only stated that I could help him with the Druid." She commented next.

"Hmm. . ." Titus looked like he was pondering something.

"If you don't believe me, then join us. You are not joining the party though. You are just watching me to see if I'm telling the truth or not. If I'm not, then you can run away, but if I am. Then that is a whole other ball game." I told him sternly.

"Fine. I'll watch you, but to only see you fail." Titus then commented.

He got up, and went towards the tent. Then Orion charged right at him, only to miss him, and to stand in front of the tent.

"Get out of my way dragon!" Titus then yelled at him.

"I would suggest you back away, Orion just told me to tell you that you're not allowed into the tent." I told him.

"Fine!" He blew a little bit in rage.

"I'm sorry Arthrall! Titus can be a handful sometimes. . ." Arialle whispered to me.

"It is fine, I can handle him. Why don't you go back to sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow, especially if he is tagging along." I whispered back to her.

"Alright, I will, and Arthrall. Thank you again!" She said to me.

"No problem!" I said to her quietly while she walked back to the tent.
