Surprisingly he still didn't move. Nora now was more annoyed than nervous. But the moment she was about to call him again, Parth stood up. Nora pursed her lips.
He unhurriedly turned. Turning back at her he kept staring at her. He didn't say anything, nor did his eyes speak of any emotions. As if he was unfazed by her presence. But only his heart knows the truth.
"Nora." He murmured.
Nora gave a faint smile and a nod. "Hey. It's been a while." She tried to be polite as much as she could.
When Parth said nothing in reply but staring at her with unknown emotions, Nora misunderstood him. All she deciphered from it was his anger on her. Anger of her slapping him. And even when he came to reconcile, she asked him to stay away from her.
Only if he knew how much he helped her in the past, he would be angered to death. Knowing how ungrateful she acted towards him all this time, he might actually stop helping others. Nora felt more guilty.
