"If Iida is the designated 'class mom', then who's the dad?" Mina had questioned the group of girls sitting on the couches in the common room.
Uraraka and Tsuyu looked at each other questioningly, their faces painted with confusion. Hagakure's clothes floated in the same spot, no one could really tell if she was confused or thinking or both.
Jirou broke the silence, "Well, wouldn't Iida be the 'dad'? Since he's a dude?"
Mina nodded. "Yeah, but he— he's like a caring mother! He makes sure everyone has had breakfast during the week, gives Yao-Momo snacks before hero training for her quirk, he helps Midoriya whenever he hurts himself… He's definitely got a maternal streak going on since we moved into the dorms!"
"I see where you're coming from Ashido, but Satou-kun makes us breakfast on the weekends, too. He could be considered the 'doting mother' type as well," Yaoyorozu added. "Maybe all the boys have their own sort of endearing way to care for the rest of the class?"
Uraraka hummed in agreement. "Oh! Yeah, that's true! Deku-kun likes to go over my hero training fights to point out things I can improve on!"
Tsuyu croaked. "Todoroki-kun is a bit more closed off, but he'll make sure the water bottles stay cold when we work on the track outside. It's refreshing. Ribbit."
"Yeah! And Kouda let's anyone who asks to hang out with his bunny! Tokoyami does meditations before exams! Ojiro likes to spar with me, helps with stealth and stuff!" Hagakure's sleeve moved up, swaying wildly in the air, and the other girls assumed that she was excited in adding her two cents.
Uraraka agreed with everyone's comments, but there was still the original question swarming in her mind, "All good points, yeah, but… Then who's the dad?"
The words were left to hang in the air as Midoriya and Bakugou had walked in at the same time into the common room. Midoriya was holding grocery bags while Bakugou held a binder full of papers and little notes threatening to spill out. They were talking—arguing, from the girls' perspectives— with each other about something, their voices barely above whisper-level. Mina thought it would be a perfect opportunity to weigh in the opinions of the dorm's wonder duo.
"Hey, Midoriya, Bakugou! Who's the 'class dad'?" Mina yelled across to where the boys were heading into the kitchen.
Bakugou dropped the heavy-looking binder on the kitchen table with a thud, "Hah? What the fuck does that mean?"
Midoriya moved quickly to the table as well, his arms shaking from holding so much for a long period of time. "Like Aizawa-sensei?"
Mina burst out laughing at their completely opposite answers, and Uraraka decided to take it from there. "No, we meant like how Iida is Class 1-A's mom, who would be our class dad?"
"Round Face, are you saying the entirety of the girls in this fucking class all share a daddy kink?" Bakugou growled out. "I want no part of this soon-to-be shit show." He heaved the binder into the kitchen, glaring at Midoriya as he passed through the door.
Midoriya flushed, from Bakugou's bit inappropriate comment. "Ah… Uraraka," he waved his hands around his face frantically, as if to erase the words from dangling in the air, "I don't think Kacchan meant it like, like… that. But, uh, between you guys and me…," he fidgeted with his fingers, face red and he averted his gaze from the couches, "Kacchan is pretty motherly too." He finished the sentence with a whisper.
The girls had collectively cornered themselves to hear Midoriya whisper out what they thought they heard. Tsuyu broke the ice, starting her question with an amused croak, "Midoriya-kun, are you saying that Bakugou-kun is a doting mother?"
He sputtered, waving his hands again in front of his now redder face. "Shh! Shh… He'll hear me! We're finally getting along… I don't wanna ruin it. But, ah. Yeah. He's been uncharacteristically caring ever since… Actually, since we were little. It was a hard pill to swallow," he chuckled nervously.
He looked back to the groceries that he abandoned on the kitchen table and sighed. "Look, guys, please don't tell anyone. 'Specially Kirishima and Sero and Kaminari… I can't imagine what they'd say to tease him…," he looks to Mina while saying so, knowing she's the closest to the group of boys. "That binder he has is from Oba-san, it's got all her home recipes and snacks and stuff for us.
"We told her the last challenge incident with Kirishima… And she gave us her binder of recipes to cook for the rest of the dorm! She gave me direct, uh, permission to hit Kacchan if he uses too many spices for you guys, so just let me know." He smiled and turned back to the table to bring the plastic bags inside the kitchen with Bakugou.
The kitchen door swung open then closed with a loud crack, the girls hearing Bakugou yell at Midoriya over what took him so long. Mina giggled, "So, guys. We live in a time where there are gender-less people because of their own quirks… I think it's possible to say that Iida and Bakugou are Class 1-A's mothers!"
Tsuyu, Uraraka, Momo, and Jirou all nodded enthusiastically, Hagakure probably did too, no one's actually sure.

The next day was a Monday, and Iida had gone around to make sure everyone had at least a granola bar for breakfast. He fixed Midoriya's tie, "Midoriya-kun, you need to learn how to tie a tie properly, I'm not your mother." Midoriya held in his giggle as Uraraka stared at Iida in response.
Bakugou had his own friend-group struggles, Kirishima had latched onto Bakugou for warmth, activating his hardening when Bakugou tried to explode his face off. Iida had moved from Todoroki quietly, giving Bakugou enough granola bars for him and his friends and smiled. He announced that he wanted everyone in class on time, or else no game night on Friday.
Kaminari was rocking the ultimate bed-head, looking like he rubbed his head on his rug from how much of his hair was standing up, Sero seemed to have a new pair of legs. He stumbled across the common room, his blazer unbuttoned and half on. Bakugou groaned loudly, shoving their breakfast in their chests, finally getting Kirishima off.
"If you fuckers are late to class one more time, I swear to fuck, I'll detonate each of you myself." Bakugou growled to his "friends". He could possibly argue saying they weren't his friends at the moment from how annoying they were being.
Mina giggled loudly, her light pink skin tinting red from holding in a laugh attack. "Okie, Baku-dad!"
It was then, at that moment, the entirety of Class 1-A was late to their homeroom with Aizawa. Aizawa groaned loudly after the second bell echoed in his classroom, saying to no one, "What did Bakugou do this time?"
