章節 37: Felt ashamed of himself
"Clara!" Leo growled.
"Has the boss slap made her lose her mind?" one of the boys asked the others in a low voice, while they gave him a knowing look, indicating that they were thinking the same thing.
"Please boss, once more will do. I just don't want this feeling to end for now." Clara pleaded as the pain is starting to subsidies.
Leo took a deep breath and also assumed something was wrong with her head. "Can you stand?" He asked, but Clara grab onto his thigh, which caught him by surprise, making him widened his eyes.
Clara started crying immediately, "more please, I beg of you. Once more will do, just treat it as a revenge for everything I've done to annoy you," clutching onto Leo's leg tightly and pleaded.
"What's wrong with your head?" Leo ask not understanding her anymore.
"I'm fine, just do it please, I want more" Clara replied.
"I've heard enough." Leo said as he picked her up in his arms and headed out of the base while Clara struggled to free herself and kept begging him to hit her.
She forgot that she didn't want body contact with him. She only wanted to feel pain.
"Stop it. We need to get your face tends to before it scar," Leo said not minding her gibberish.
As he was carrying her inside, Tim who was also there to begin his moves on Clara saw Leo carrying a woman in his arms, from afar.
He parked his car at Leo's garage and wanted to head towards the main house before seeing them. "This is rare." he muttered.
"Hey buddy, wait up!" He called.
Leo felt bad, embarrassed and guilty, as Tim approaches, 'how is Tim going to feel when he realises he hit a woman, his fairy at that.'
Timothy's smile froze when he saw the marks on Clara's face. It was obvious what happened to it. "Who is the bastard that did this?" Tim growled. His gaze turned sharp and enraged.
Clara also kept shut at the sudden growl.
"I did." Leo said feeling ashamed of himself.
"What? you crazy?" Tim throw a punch at Leo's face, which make Clara hold her breath and Leo almost dropped her, as he staggered backwards, but Tim held onto her and took her from him.
Leo couldn't look at Tim in the eyes, this isn't about his obsession with anything under skirt.
Tim has always despised people who lay their hands on a woman. He has engaged himself in many fights that does not concern him, all because the victim was a woman being abused by men.
Tim gave him a knowing look, of being disappointed in him and turned to leave with Clara in his arms.
Even if he explained himself, it won't change the fact that he hit Clara, so Leo just watched as Tim went away with Clara into the house. He knew he fucked up. He shouldn't have allowed Clara teasing to get to him.
"Actually it's not what you think," Clara said to Tim as he carried her in, but Tim did not mind what she said and kept heading in, not even sparing her a glance, he kept a straight face and looking ahead.
Clara suddenly recalled she was still being carried, how Tim took her from Leo and all.
She was shocked by Tim hitting Leo and didn't think much of it.
'Wait a minute! Mick!' she felt her body shivered a bit. She has been avoiding the man since the incident and now Tim will be carrying her directly to him.
Except for cleaners, who came to clean in the morning and afternoon before leaving for their houses, there were no other maid in the residence, as big as it is.
Ever since she arrived at Leo's home, she does her own cooking by herself, while Mick prepare Leo's.
No matter what, Leo would never allow Mick prepare food for another person. He rejected the idea of Mick cooking for him but the man insisted.
Ever since Leo was poisoned by one of the mansion previous maids, who was his uncle's spy; Mick sacked all the other maids and took matters into his own hands.
When Leo told Mick to employ someone trustworthy; Mick agreed, but on a condition that, he must first eat out of the foods prepared by the maid before Leo could touch it.
Leo wouldn't buy such an idea, he always manage to escape death, but what if he ended up losing Mick? he wouldn't be able to live on, as the man is his everything.
So he accepted, but then Mick proceeded further by saying he would teach him how to cook as well, which he agreed to, and thanks to Mick, he is an excellent cook.
"put me down please." Clara pleaded.
