The news of Noah's hospitalization was relayed to Everest five days later through Nol. He was completely unaware when he heard Nol that the first thing he could ask was how Belen was taking everything.

Fortunately, A STAR was closed because of the New Year, so he decided to ready his heart and visit Noah.

When he arrived at the hospital, he caught a glimpse of Belen's thin appearance as he thought with sympathy, "she's lost so much weight…her face…why did he have to do this to her despite having known for a while that he had cancer. Why didn't that idiot say anything…now he's making Belen suffer." 

Everest did not hesitate to march inside the hospital room until he saw the machines attached to Noah like a robot keeping him alive.

He was struck with the realization that Noah is weak, pitiful, and probably in pain right now.

The deeper he entered the room, the closer he got to see Noah's faint eyelids twitch open, "…Belen?"
