They appear to be immune to physical attacks and they also have extremely high resistance against Mana Spells. 

They've noticed that only spells at the level of Grade 5 would actually reach them and deal a bit of damage to their scales or skins.

However, it is obviously not enough to kill them since they could easily regenerate whatever wound they inflicted.

Aside from that, their usage of Grade 5 Spells was costly and they couldn't use them in succession.
