章節 1: Chapter 1: First Day
"Well then, let's do this"
As I walk on inside of the ivory coloured gate, I am preparing myself for my first day in the Ascheim Institute of Magic and Sword Academy
But first let me introduce myself. I am Viktor Sherwood and yes I am from a fantasy world but this is not my original world. I am formerly a high school student but accidentally I got struck by a lightning
Instead of going "somewhere", I got reincarnated in a fantasy world. My parent in this world are famous Adventurers, well there job is killing monsters, subduing demons, helping people you name it. My parent name is Rachel Sherwood (my mother) and Vulcan Sherwood (my father). They are very famous for killing the four of the ten general of the Demon Lord which is a big deal because after the generals get defeated, the army of the Demon Lord retreated on the Demon Lord Fortress.
My father wield the Sun Blaze, a flaming sword that cannot extinguished even by a high class magic like Absolute Zero (a magic spell that freezes anything) and my mother is a Mage that specialises Ice type magic. Even they said my father is the fiercest warrior ever existed, he is a very caring father and bake me cookies sometimes. They also said that my mother is a very compassionate to everyone but she is a very strict to me and she will give you a cold stare that can pierced through my soul if I make mistake. Thanks to that, I am now a became a decent person than on my former self
And now I am sixteen years old and I need a proper knowledge. I have still my memories on my former world but still I need to know more and I am still have a small knowledge on this world. I read in the book that my mother give me and the said that there are four major nation in this world but I know that my mother and father born in the Kingdom of Ascheim. Magic is a norm here and my Magic Affinity is Void and Ice but Void is very rare and only 20 known people have this affinity except me. Mother said that I need to hide my Void Spell until I became eighteen and she never said why.
And here I am, walking in the marble tiles and finding where is my room. After a couple of minutes I find it. I peeked on the door and I see my chair is not occupied so I go in and instantly the gazes of my classmate that yet to know them is making me anxious
(Psst who is that?)
(I don't know, maybe is he is just lost)
Oh come on, I am not lost! Yeah I can heard what are they whispering because of my Void Spell called Eavesdrop and it is quite a annoying spell cause the spell will automatically activated when someone is talking to me discreetly.
I sit down I just ignored every whisper I heard. My bag is heavy so I put it on the back of my chair. A grey haired man that have a mastache walk in
"Good morning future Knight and Mages of Ascheim. I have a special announcement to you all"
Murmured is now coating the entire room but I know what he is gonna say.
"We have a new student! He is late for the first two weeks since his parents is quite busy. Now Viktor, come here and introduced yourself"
Alright, let's fricking go
I stand up and a go on the front of the class. My heart suddenly beating fast but I manage it by inhaling and exhaling slowly
"Hello everyone, I am Viktor Sherwood. I am from the upper desert region so my house is very far from here.please to meet you"
my one of my female classmate quickly stand suddenly stand up after my sentence finished
"What! You are a Sherwood?! You know, the couple who defeat a lot of demon generals!?"
"Please miss Cate, sit down. I command you"
My teacher gaze at Cate and she instantly sit down
"Yes sir..."
Wow it's looked like I will not gonna miss home because of that petrifying gaze just like mother do to me.
"Viktor, would you please"
"Ohh, okay"
I take a deep breath again and I speak
"Yes just like miss Cate said, my parents slew the Demon Generals"
The entire class except for the my teacher gasped like they see a ice-cream fell down on the ground. Why are they overeating!
"Okay that a wrap now please mister Viktor, sit down so we can have class now"
"Yes, sir"
I politely sit so I don't wanna get petrified by his gaze. The class just suddenly finished without my knowing. It's just basic magic history and sword techniques
After the class, I quickly bounce off in the cafeteria. The cafeteria have a BLT sandwich for main course and cream pudding for desert with a side of banana.
This is pretty a neat lunch, now I will just find a vacant seat
I scanned every bench I see but they are all occupied. I have no choice but to share to other my classmate I guess
"Hey umm... Can I share a seat"
They get surprised and one of them flinched.
"Y-You are V-Viktor r-right"
Holy moly, her word gets cluttered like my sandwich
"Yes, I am. Can I share with you. Every bench is vacant..."
The girl stand up and she offered her seat
"Please take my seat!"
"No, that's not what I meant! I was just want to share benches with you not steal it and I not a scum bastard to steal a lady bench!"
"Oh alright..."
"Hey Viktor, don't worry about Cate. She is just a fan of parents, here have a seat"
The red haired girl offer me a bench so I accept it
"Thank you"
"Don't say it dude,I am Abigail by the way, and that nerdy boy right there is Lucas"
"Hello"
"That small child right there is Maria"
"Hey! I am not a child you know!
"And lastly the girl who is fangirling your parents is Cate"
"W-What NO! I am not a fangirl!
Abigail introduced everyone and I am happy to know thy name.Rachel have short haired who have a tomboyish character. She have a nice feature and maybe just maybe, she can charm me
"So you are Viktor Sherwood? You are really the son of Rachel the Blue Maiden and Vulcan the Fiery Warrior"
Lucas question me. He have glass and white eyes. She is wearing a pendant of his family crest of some short. Quite a tall and handsome guy and I think he is blind because he is not looking at me when he asked me
"Why do you keep asking that same question over and over again? Yes I am the son of Rachel Sherwood and Viktor Sherwood, are we clear on that"
"Okay then"
I really need to know if he is blind so I asked him
"I really scared to ask but are you..."
"Oh this"
He point to his eyes
"Yes I am blind but I can see people aura and you have pretty peculiar one..."
Oh crap, will he found out that I have a Void Affinity? Jeez I am really anxious right now!
"Psst Viktor, don't worry about Lucas, he just want to be mysterious just become cool but he can see"
"You dare you! You want a duel woman!"
"Yeah! Let's go!"
Ahh.. I see... He have a eight grade syndrome..
"Hey kid, don't worry about them they are just like that" Maria said
Woah I didn't see you there! Maria is so small that maybe she can fit in my backpack.
"Hey why are you looking like me like that, it's because I am small!"
"No! No! Not like that, you are just cute like koala"
"Koala? What is that"
"Oh, nevermind that"
As I and Maria talk, Lucas and Abigail finished duel by arm wrestling and the victor is Abigail
"Yay! I won Again!"
(Sigh) so this is how I start my first day huh? Well this is better than I expected
