章節 2: Reborn(2)
"Belle!" a soft, worried voice called for me in the darkness. It was filled with warmth, happiness, and love. It engulfed me into a bright sunny spot.
The voice was too familiar for me to recognize it. It's the voice that I have always loved inside my heart. I opened up my eyes. My eyelashes fluttered open as I faced two people across my bedside. I froze.
Is this a dream? Hell no...
There were two-lifelike people standing next to me by my bedside. Two- My father-?! And my Nursery Maid-!?
I refused to blink at that moment, fearing that everything might have been a cruel dream. Tears brimmed my eyes. The tears were warm, hot and stung my eyes as I refused to blink.
"Belle!" my nursery maid cried loudly as she wrapped her hands around me and embraced me. I could feel her touch underneath a layer of blanket. I- I'm alive??!
Didn't I die with a sword in my hands? Was this heaven? Where am I? Well, whatever it was, I was happy. At least I died knowing there were people right beside me that I would love.
I thanked the heavens to give me this happiness. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath.
"My Rose? Are you feeling better?" my father asked as he caressed my forehead. The touch felt so real. So true. So warm. I couldn't believe my eyes!
I WAS ALIVE! I was really really alive! I moved my hands up to wipe the tears from my eyes. This wasn't a dream! That nightmare that I just suffered through was a dream~ I was back! Again...
I sat up from my bed and tightly embraced my father, as tears of joy streamed down my eyes.
Was I reborn?
I had another chance! Another life to relive! Another chance to run away from the Nightmare!
"Miss Belle!" My nursery maid said in surprise as she watched me wipe my tears. Before she could react, I quickly tackled my Nanny as I embraced her.
"Lilla! Father!" I cry as I dig my head into their shoulders and start sobbing. "I really missed you!"
I could feel the baffled, and questioning look in both of their eyes. I didn't care. I was with them again! That past... was all a nightmare!
"I swear... this time... I won't lose!" I say with snobs on my face. My face was wet, with a runny nose and red eyes. Pink flushed ugly white cheeks.
"Miss Belle?" Lilla, my nursemaid confusingly as she patted my head. "Loose what?"
"My Rose? Is there something wrong? Did you wake up from a Nightmare?" My father asks as he sees me. His stares are weird.
It doesn't matter! Even if it were a Nightmare... it was horrible, a tragedy, filled with regrets and remorse... now that I am alive- again...
A shiver runs down my spine as I remember the horrible nightmare I just went through. The scars were too deep to be forgotten. The walls have been broken up. All my happiness had been sucked out of me.
That was all in the past, Bellrose. This time...
I will now live as the new Bellrose.
