章節 195: A dream?

The next day, Xiu Mei woke up and saw Lu Chen's figure beside her. She could faintly see the traces of lack of sleep under his eyes and thought that he must have slept really late after their conversation hours ago. 

She slowly rose from the bed trying not to wake Lu Chen up from his slumber. And then she sat at the edge of the bed, her head looking at the folded laptop on the table at the corner of the room. She was reminded of her depressing thoughts a few hours ago and fell into a trance for a few seconds. But she didn't let herself dwell on it too long. 

She shook her head and returned to her senses. She finished her morning routine before waking up her husband on the bed. Even though she very much wants him to sleep a little longer, she still knows his personality better. 

He'll surely become grumpy if he oversleeps and comes in late to work especially after not going to the office for a long while.
