"Gege, I still think this is not a good idea."
Yu Mo just laughs and pats Xiao Ying's head.
"Why do you keep saying that?"
"Gege knew why." Xiao Ying mumbled."This is really not a good idea."
"That's why, let's just ask Grandma's opinion. And if Grandma says yes, Xiao Ying cannot refuse anymore, okay?"
Yu Mo and Xiao Ying are debating on the way to Grandma's room. Xiao Ying keeps insisting he can't stay and doesn't want to have any debt toward Yu Mo. But, it's not Yu Mo if he also not insisting Xiao Ying to stay.
Yu Mo knocks on the door and opens the door. Before Yu Mo can enters, Xiao Ying tugs Yu Mo's hand hard. Yu Mo looks at Xiao Ying confusedly.
"Gege..."
"Don't worry. I'm not using you or you using me. I know you are a good kid, that's why I want you to grow up here and also taking care of my Grandma." Yu Mo said while bending down and holding Xiao Ying's shoulders.
"Well, Xiao Ying. Truthfully said... starting tomorrow, I may not have time to accompany Grandma or even, not have time to come home. I will be very busy. I know, as grandchild, I have responsibility to accompany Grandma. But I, also have other responsibilities." Yu Mo explained."And these responsibilities... only I can do it."
Yu Mo looks at Xiao Ying with serious and straight face.
"That's why, we ask Grandma and if my Grandma doesn't want you, I will not force her. But I will not abandon you, Xiao Ying."
Xiao Ying gaps a little.
"I don't know about you. But I think our meeting was kinda a fa...te?"
Silence fills between them.
"That's why I also want Xiao Ying to stay here."
That makes Xiao Ying and Yu Mo jump.
"Grandma!"
Grandma is standing while holding the door and warm smile is forming on her face.
"Both of you should've discuss before knocked on my door and opened it, but didn't enter."
Yu Mo just smiles and says,"I know Grandma would say yes, tho."
"That's why, Xiao Ying, don't mind too much. Just stay here and be yourself, yeah? Grandma is not that strict and will love you like her own. Xiao Mo doesn't talk rubbish. He is really will be very busy starting tomorrow and 90% likely to less at home."
Grandma and Yu Mo looks at Xiao Ying expectantly with warm smiles on their faces. Xiao Ying's heart actually feel warm and bubbly, but he also feels afraid.
Can he really allowed to feel these warms?
"Can... I really...?" He looks down and bites his lower lip.
"Grandma..." Yu Mo looks at Grandma helplessly.
Grandma stands in front of Xiao Ying and pats his head.
"Welcome home."
Xiao Ying quickly looks at Grandma's and Yu Mo's faces.
"Welcome home." Yu Mo said.
That breaks Xiao Ying's heart.
His eyes become red and tears are slowly forming at the corner of his eyes and finally falls down.
