章節 8: Chapter 8: Cultivation Technique and Meeting a Storm

In front of a large full-length mirror, was a handsome young boy with long shaggy and piercing purple eyes that resembled amethysts. He was standing at a respectable 5 ft tall, and with a large grin on his face.

"I've finally finished it. Fuck yeah, after 2 years I've finally finished my cultivation technique" the 8-year-old said excitedly. After two grueling years of constantly have multiple memory partitions reading millions of books, Lawrence had finally compiled a broken technique. Instead of compiling a fiend god body refining technique, and a ki-refining technique, he had combined the two cultivation paths, making one super technique.

Ki Refining is one of two paths of cultivation within the Desolate Era universe, it is based on refining elemental essences. This path allows one to use many mysterious Immortal treasures, create complicated golems, control large amounts of deadly magical beasts, develop powerful magical formations, and also use some extremely vile techniques…in a word, this was an extremely glorious and profound path.

Fiendgod Body Refining, on the other hand, was based on transforming one's the entire body's muscles and internal organs so that it matched the strength of ancient Fiendgods, and this path is a hundred times more difficult than Ki Refining. However, Fiendgod Body Refiners are objectively many, many times stronger than Ki Refiners of the same Cultivation Level, not only because of their superior bodies, regenerative properties and their immense strength akin to Fiendgods but their ability to cultivate Divine Abilities. This form of cultivation would allow cultivators to gain things like having Indestructible bodies, possession of boundless strength, having three heads and six arms, and regenerating from a single drop of blood.

His technique was special in that it allowed him to use one technique to cultivate both paths at the same time. This technique was compiled from 5, 061, 425 cultivation manuals that were flawless.

[Ascending the Heavens

A unique technique that allows the user to cultivate both the fiendgod body refining and ki-refining cultivation paths together. This technique contains the benefits of both cultivation paths while actively compressing the user's strength so that the user will have the strength of a hundred normal fiend god body refiners. Gives the user a basic resistance to the 12 different elements, while allowing the user to directly 8 empowered elements.

This technique will also allow the user to cultivate a complete set of heavenly Laws without any Laws opposing the one another.

This technique is special in that it will allow the user to gain divine abilities in the Zifu stage from ingesting various bloodlines. For example, drinking the blood of a phoenix it is possible to gain resurrect themselves whenever they die.

"F**CK YEAAAHHHHHH" Law yelled in his excitement about creating an awesome technique.

"What did you say, young man. Don't make me come in there, Lawrence. Next time I hear you say that would you're going to be grounded for the next week" Lissandra yelled back from their kitchen.

"Goddamit" Law said with his excitement instantly dying down.

"Did you say something?" Lissandra yelled in a testing tone, while he heard a girl giggling.

Lawrence quickly exited his room, to the sight of his entire family sitting at the kitchen table.

"What took you so long, were you admiring yourself in the mirror again big bro," Suzanne said with a smug look on her face.

"Ohh, leave your brother alone, it's not like he can resist looking into the mirror and staring at my perfect purple eyes," Lissandra said while serving everyone their food.

"It's not your eyes" Wallace interjected while reading the newspaper at the table while drinking his coffee.

"Did you say something dear?" Lissandra said sweetly while Hanya mask appeared behind her. Lawrence ignoring the fact that his father was now sweating bullets and sat down beside his sister and began eating.

"No, I said nothing, my love. I was just thinking about how much you and Lawrence looked so similar" Wallace replied instantly giving in.

"That's what I thought," She said while giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. What he said was very true. Lawrence truly resembled Lissandra, while Suzanne greatly resembled Wallace. This made introductions easy because everyone believed them to be related instead of Lawrence and Suzanne being adopted.

The past two years had been amazing, in some ways and horrible in others. Lissandra and Wallace had both enrolled Suzanne and Lawrence in a local primary school which resulted in one hell of a mess. Lawrence quickly found himself bored out his mind and decided to begin messing with his teachers.

At first, it was just small things constantly asking them questions which he knew they wouldn't have the answers for or moving certain items 2 inches to the left or right causing certain teachers to start tripping. And since he was a six-year-old child, no one believed that he was truly the culprit, so he always got away with his pranks.

It had taken him a week before he went crazy with boredom and decided to just test out of school. This resulted in him graduating middle school and being put into high school, resulting in him annoyed with the other teens around him. He was never really a patient guy, so when one of the older children decided to pick on the defenseless 6-year-old, he received a broken nose. Thus, Lawrence quickly self-studied himself into graduating from high school in a month, earning him more attention than he desired.

Suzanne, on the other hand, had decided to stick with her age group, and despite her intelligence, memory, and maturity allowing her to at least graduate elementary school. She instead became of the most popular children around with her peppy and bright attitude that brought a smile to most faces.

"So, when are we finally going to meet your friend Johnny, I have the rights to vet him," Lawrence asked while finishing up his dinner. This drew the interest of both Lissandra and Wallace because neither of them had met the new transfer student that Suzanne had become best friends with.

"You're never meeting him Law," she said while glaring at him.

"Why? Is it that my little sister has a crush already, at such a young age?" Law asked with a fake shocked look on his face. Suzanne immediately began grinding her teeth together, while getting ready to pounce onto him.

"You're never meeting him because you scare every person, I bring home. It doesn't even matter if it's a boy or a girl, you start interrogating them at the door" she answered furiously that this was even being asked.

"I was trying to help after all my little sister can only have the best of friends," Law said in a snobby voice. Right as she was about to jump at him, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Law said while running to the door to escape her wrath.

"Get back here and take your beating like a man" Suzanne yelled, while Lissandra was holding her back. When he opened the door, he was greeted with a blond-haired blue-eyed little boy.

"Hello, who are you?" Lawrence asked while stone-faced causing the boy to start panicking a bit.

"I'm Johnny Storm, I'm here to pick up Suzanne, so that we can walk to school together," the boy said

'So, Suzanne's friend is the youngest storm. We'll I never really cared about his character anyway, I'm going to interrogate him anyways' Lawrence thought with an evil grin on his face.

"Come right in, I think we need to have a little talk," Lawrence said while a black aura began to waft off him. At that moment Johnny knew he f*cked up.
