"Brie, I want to make memories with you for a lifetime."

The minute Tyler said this, Brie buried her face into his chest. She could no longer contain the tears in her eyes. Tyler had to completely turn to her side and comfort her. 

"Brie, now that I am being honest with you in all this, I was wondering if you can tell me the same," said Tyler. He first waited for any resistance from her. When there was none, he continued. "Did you get hurt when I got into a relationship?"

Brie did not answer. She only nodded. Tyler felt her head movement, suggesting a yes. 

"Was that the reason why you did not go to college in the UK?" He asked. 

She then again gave another nod. 

"Then… did that mean - did that mean you - you liked me more than just a friend?" Tyler asked with caution. 

She was silent for a minute but eventually, she gave her soft answer that sounded like a whisper, "Y - yes."
