Sanya Downtown area
In the busy streets of the downtown area of the city, a few vehicles are rushing to and fro making the head of Yun Rong dizzy. When she arrives at this place she was too overwhelmed that she did not know what to do.
Though she was somewhat a bit confident at first upon getting inside a yellow-colored vehicle which they called as taxi, she immediately became entranced at what she saw next. Unfamiliar buildings, unfamiliar places, and everything are new which made her feel dizzy.
But she was able to control her emotion and calm's her mind even though inside her heart there is still a huge turmoil happening due to being in a new environment.
After paying the fare, she stood at the side of the street with her backpack while looking around.
"I need to calm my emotions first…" she thought as she found a place.
It is a building that seems to let people enter and those inside are seated at a table where they could eat.
From what she has read in the boat, this place is called a restaurant.
As she enters she looks at the people inside and was able to immediately assess and adapt to the situation. With somewhat quick thinking she observed and then follows what the people are doing and order the food that she likes.
"Why are these people looking at me?" she thought as she noticed that a couple of men and women would glance at her every now and then.
She suddenly felt a bit worried.
Then two young men walk and impolitely sit with her at her table.
"Hi, miss… I could not help myself but approach you. You look really stunning… I thought I've seen a star in real life. Hihi…" the man said with a confident smile.
Yun Rong did not know what to say or do as she just looks at the man with a hint of naivety and curiosity in her eyes.
"Star? What is that?" she asked in confusion.
The changing of her expression and the movements of her brows added attractiveness and cuteness to her expression which almost made the jaws of the two men fall to the ground. Though she is a bit tanned, yet this did not hide her attractiveness even a bit. In fact, it actually highlighted her amongst the crowd.
Upon seeing that the two seemed to be in a daze, she feels that they are not that interesting anymore, so she turns to the windows and looks outside.
"Are… are you a student?" one of the guys immediately recovered and asked while looking at her backpack.
She showed a faint smile and then shook her head.
"Just here to travel…" she replied.
"Really, if you want... I can be your guide… I know a lot of beautiful places in this city." the other guy offered with an excited expression.
Yun Rong noticed that particular glint in his eyes and feel that this one is planning something that seems sinister and ominous.
She did not say anything and just continue looking outside.
The waitress soon walks to the table and delivers her food.
"Miss, here are your orders, enjoy your meal!" the waitress said with a smile.
"Thank you!…" Yun Rong replied with a courteous smile.
Yet this particular smile of hers almost took the two young men's breath away.
This time, the two young men did not want to give up, plus it seems that this woman is not going to push them away, so they think that she would be able to accommodate them if only they play their cards well.
Yet before he could say something, Yun Rong just glances at them and then said something that almost made them feel embarrassed.
"I only order one serving… I'm a little bit hungry, so I can't invite the two of you to share my meal…" she said frankly then started eating.
Yun Rong is really a bit hungry and had been eating seafood and dried ration for days at sea. So smelling the delicious meal made her feel want to gobble everything up in one go.
And so without even bothering with the two, she began eating like a hungry ghost in front of the two young men.
When they saw her way of eating, they almost want to run away. How could such a beauty, be so uncouth in eating? It's like she's been hungry and has been starved for days.
When the two young men left their seats, Yun Rong did not bother with them and finished her meal.
After eating, she checked for the money that the captain gave her. It is more than enough to spend in the city while she would try to find a way to exchange the dollars in her bag.
She then left the restaurant and looks for the alley where the black market was supposed to be located. After asking a few people, she soon arrives in the alley.
She enters an antique store and saw many different types of antiques everywhere. She then hesitantly approached the counter.
The beautiful woman on the counter flashed a gentle smile on her.
"Can I help you?" she asked politely.
"Ah… Is… is this the black market?" Yun Rong asked.
The female attendant immediately looks at Yun Rong and scrutinized her appearance. From the female attendant's perspective, she is looking at a naïve young tourist who seems to have spent more than she should and has no money left for her travels.
"Why are you looking for the black market?"
"Ah… I heard that black markets would buy my stuff higher than normal shops."
"Your stuff?"
Yun Rong then carefully takes out a small bag of jewelry inside the second pocket of her backpack and then handed it to the counter.
The attendant then slowly opens the small bag, and upon seeing the things inside she showed a hint of surprise in her eyes. She then looks at Yun Rong in suspicion.
"Miss, we don't want trouble here…" she said as she pushed the small bag back.
"Hmm… No trouble at all." Yun Rong smiled with confidence.
"Source?"
"Can't say…"
The two were silent for a while, but then the female attendant showed a hint of understanding as she nodded her head. She then takes a weighing scale and a magnifier then checks the pieces of jewelry.
After a while…
"These are real and genuine articles!" She muttered with a hint of astonishment.
Yun Rong did not reply and just watch the female attendant with a smile.
"I would need to call my manager. Miss, would you like to follow me inside…" she said politely.
Yun Rong did not reject. She took the bag and followed the attendant inside the inner part of the store in a well-decorate room.
The female attendant politely assisted her and even brewed some tea for her.
It did not take long before a short middle-aged man walks inside the room and showed a polite smile on his face. He is already rubbing his hands as if anticipating something good.
"Ah… Our esteemed guess, I am Manager Jung…" the middle-aged man introduced himself.
"I heard that you wanted to sell your... stuff... in our prestigious store? Well, I think you made the right choice. We can give you a better price than others…" he said as he sits on the opposite seat.
"Manager… take a look…" the attendant said as she pointed at the small black bag on the table.
The manager checks the pieces of jewelry and showed a satisfied smile on his face.
"Well, as I told you, I will offer you a good price for these things. But for the rest, our store is unable to buy them. If you sold me this pair of earing and this necklace with 16 diamonds, and also these watches, then I can give you around 2 million yuan. Are you satisfied with that price?"
The manager waited and tried to see the expression on the young woman's face. But all he could see is her smiling at him. He was a bit stunned as he finally noticed her beauty, especially her gorgeous smile.
"Hmm…"
When he recovers from his stupor, he immediately cleared his throat.
"Ahem… I know, that the price is a bit low, but that is the most I could offer… If you want you can auction it, but I doubt that you can wait that long, right?"
Yun Rong finally showed a cute expression as if she is thinking deeply.
"Okay, I'll go with 2 million yuan… How about the rest?"
"Ahh… Let me frank to you… These other pieces of jewelry are just normal gold chains and bracelets, except for the other watches which I could add about 100,000 yuan, the rest… we cannot really buy them."
"Why is that?"
"Haha… You see, in this shop, we only buy those that have craftsmanship value and secret brands…" Manager Jung winked.
Yun Rong somewhat knows that this black market is special. Though she could not fully understand it, she knew that they would only accept special items.
"Alright… But I don't want my grandpa to know that I sold his things, plus I actually have some cash with me for travel, but it seems that I took too much of it from him. So,... could you please put it with the rest of the money?…" Yung Rong said while showing a shy expression.
She then takes out the rest of the dollars inside her bag. At this time she is already trying her luck in this black market.
"Ahh… Well, this is… Umm… Okay, you don't have to worry about this. We will provide you with a unanimous card and you can just change the pin after…" the manager said with a smile.
Though he is still a bit doubtful, he could not turn away a big customer, right?
He then nodded to the female attendant.
"Wait a minute… I… I want a phone that is connected to the card." Yun Rong suddenly added as she remembers another thing that the captain told her.
Manager Jung was a bit confused but still nodded his head and the female attendant left taking the money on the table. The manager separates the pieces of jewelry he chooses and then returned the rest in the small jewelry in the bag.
"So, are you visiting Sanya city for the first time?" the manager started a small conversation.
"Yes… I've been to many places so far, so my vacation is a bit fun…" Yun Rong replied with an excited expression.
However, the mind of Manager Jung is already thinking of something else.
"An expert thief? A con woman,… or an heiress who is running away from home? Which one is this young lady?" he began thinking while observing her secretly.
"How many places in Sanya have you visited so far? Many tourists like visiting many places here especially the resorts…" he recommended.
"Well, I've just arrived so, I will have to plan first."

After a while, the female attendant returns bringing with her a tray with a black card beside a phone.
The black card only has a string of numbers on them and a password written on a small piece of paper beside it. After looking at it, Yun Rong did not hesitate and immediately takes the black card and the phone along with the piece of paper.
Yun Rong immediately began to do a bank transaction through her phone while asking the female attendant beside her. After learning how to transact through her phone, she immediately transferred the amount of money to the crew according to what they have discussed.
After finishing, Yun Rong heaves a faint sigh. Now in her account balance, she only has her share left after transferring the money.
She stands up and grabs her backpack.
"Thank you… and nice doing business with you..." she said with a smile.
Manager Jung nodded his head.
"You're welcome any time, miss. Thank you for your patronage…"
When Yun Rong left the store, the smile on Manager Jung disappears as he looks at the pieces of jewelry and watches arranged on the table.
"Put a tail on her… Call our contact from the police station. Investigate her identity." Manager Jung commanded with a frown.
"Manager, anything wrong?" the female attendant asked.
"I seem to recall something about these pieces of jewelry and those dollars… But… If I am correct, then… Hehe…" Manager Jung showed a cunning smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Yun Rong has already left the place and went to get a cab. She then went to an internet café.
Her next goal is to search for clues about herself. Now that she has solved her problem with money; she would next need to solve her problem with her identity.
