Most of the Hei Shen members had a lot of previous experience during the battle at the bamboo forest against the Sanguan family also against the Heaven gate sect in the Whisper forest, therefore, they were able to remain calm, especially after they learn special power from their Lord they were confident they would be able to fight against these dark creatures.
