章節 19: Inhibitions
Daphne had an amazing body. She had been practicing martial arts since she was four years old, and he was also aware that she practiced yoga in order to keep her body's elasticity. Ezra himself also practiced a variety of martial arts. It was a more recent endeavor for him, though. Martial arts were very good for disciplining the body and the mind. They were good at improving one's focus and stillness and had many other benefits.
Ezra could feel her firm, elastic and warm flesh trough her silk garment.
'Silk should be illegal on her." He thought. The way it hugged her curves and let him feel her body was a bit too much for Ezra. But still, he could not stop his almost drunken appreciation of her presence.
Daphne used her left hand to slowly scope out his body. From his face, to his abdominal muscles, to his right leg. Eventually; after feeling him shiver under her; she placed her hand over his heart. It had a strong, fast and erratic pattern.
Ezra's wild heartbeat shocked and pleased Daphne all at once. Her inhibitions were slowly being stripped away and she was incredibly aroused. Such a high quality man was right in front of her. Although she had kept her wits about her for so long, the appreciations humans had for beautiful things was undeniable.
Curious to see if he was feeling the same excitement she was, Daphne wanted to look at his private area and see if his member had hardened, but since they were too close to each other, she could not do so without pulling away slightly. She was reluctant to do that.
Not one to give up, and with her mental shackles unlocked, Daphne somehow decided that lifting herself up for a split second and placing herself on his crotch was a better way of finding out. This action of hers made the distance between their bodies nonexistent.
Just from the way her thoughts were forgetting logical thinking and just going on pure impulse, one could tell that she was not thinking about what she was doing, at all.
Once she felt his hardened member on her core, she bit her lip to suppress a moan.
Ezra was petrified, stuck in the same position, he was not sure what to do. He wanted verbal consent from her, he was too emotionally battered to have too much courage. He was paranoid, since he knew some women could really torture a man without the intention of taking things further. But at the same time, he was also reluctant to take things further as it was all happening too quickly and it was too unexpected.
What if she regretted afterwards? What if, because he had easily given into her, she would lose interest? The delusions Ezra had been having all these years made him aware that teasing could further enhance interest. Daphne had never cheated, so she was unlikely to cheat now, especially after her actions at this moment, as such, he should have a bit of leeway to test the waters and frustrate her a bit, he thought.
Despite the rationalizing, Ezra was actually afraid. He was afraid to give her what she wanted and to be guided by her whims. If he gave her what she wanted now, when all she said was that she basically just wanted sex… what if he wanted more?… later?… but she would be reluctant to offer more?
If he kept being passive and just reflecting and mirroring her behavior, there was a high change she would just take what she wanted from him and be content. Mirroring her behavior was what he had done until now, and it had not proven to be the best approach.
Ezra was afraid for this to mean that she would completely dismiss the existence of any and all feelings, or that she would simply not put him in her mind once she achieved her goal.
If he made things more challenging for her, she would probably try to convince him and in the process of that, maybe they would become closer, and not just physically closer.
Had this proposition come at the start of their marriage, he would have jumped at the opportunity to become one with her, but it was obvious to him that she did not see things the same way he did.
