At the podium there is a chair where a hat lay at top of it, the hat look old.
The new students is silent and then a curve like mouth appear from the hat.
Singing voice flowed out of it.
" Oh you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.

For Allan the song is good so he clap lightly with his hand the others also clap but loudly for the song.
" those who name is called go up, sit and wear the hat " Professor McGonagall holding a long parchment list out names.
" abbott Hannah " then a girl stumbled to the podium, she wear the hat that went past her eyes then the hat declare loudly.
" Hufflepuff " the second table from the left side burts with clap, the girl walk there and sit with her new found friend.
" Bones, Susan " a girl walk to the podium and wear the hat and then the thinking cap declare loudly.
" Hufflepuff " then Professor McGonagall say out a name.
" Boot, Terry " a boy go up and wear the hat then just like before the hat declare loudly.
" Ravenclaw " names is called and then it's Allan turn.
" Deathfalls, Allan " the whole hall become silent because of that peculiar name, it sound so omnious after all.
Allan go up and wear the hat ' oh you only have bits of thought, so you practice occlumency good good, a great greed for knowledge but also cunning Slytherin or Ravenclaw will suit you, but you can be fearless when meet with obstacle, you can harness every mean for reaching your own purpose, but also sacrifice everything for your loved one, Hufflepuff is out, Gryffindor too is out, Ravenclaw or Slytherin you choose ' the thinking cap blabbering in his mind but every thing it say is right.
' Slytherin ' he choose because it's simple, his scheme will be overlooked when placed with numerous other scheme.
the thinking cap nod at his choose not that it can nod but he feel it nod.
" Slytherin " the thinking cap loudly declare, then the first on the right side clapped the clap is not to loud but not to weak.
Allan stood up and put down the hat, he bowed toward it and the teachers, then he go toward Slytherin table and sit at a corner, the other look a bit antisocial and only talk to their friend
It is understandable after all none have heard his family name and it sound omnious too.
' the first one is too read all book in library ' he thought about the knowledge he can gain and smile broke out under his scarf.
