Kris placed Lena's phone on the glass table and hugged her with both of his arms.

"So.. have you thought of your gift?" Lena asked him.

"I want... I want us to take a step forward in our relationship." Kris softly replied.

"Step forward?" Lena pulled her face a bit away from Kris so she could get a good look at him. Lena put her two index finger together and tap them. "Like... that?"

Kris looked at her finger then back at her cute face. "What is that?"

"It means we... you know?" Lena spoke. But if Kris did not know what that means then maybe... he was talking about something else. "Never mind... what do you mean by next step?"
