Smith had covered his face with his hands, feeling hopeless and disgusted with himself. Just how can I let this happen? Damn!!
Whereas Austin had clenched a pen in his hand, almost about to break it! His anger was rising like an errupting volcano.
Linda then switched off the recording pen and gave it magistrate. "Your honour in the recording, the 'speak' word was Mr. Smith's voice. While the story was narrated by Ashley and in the end...." Linda turned to look at Austin. "In the end, the person who confirms Ashley's guilt is Mr. Austin himself! Here are the forensic reports of the voices, which as stated in the report are completely unedited!" Linda handed over a report, to the magistrate.
"I object your honour!!" Austin stood up immediately.
Linda turned to look at Austin in surprise.
"You honour, even if the voices in the pen are ours, but the pen is not Smith's. I believe the recordings have been taken at different times and collaborated to form proper scentences and then recorded. Obviously, Miss Linda being my former assistant can easily have an access to our voices!" Austin looked at Linda, his face full of anger.
The magistrate studied the pen and then read all the forensic reports, one by one. He then turned to look at Linda. "Do you have anything to prove the defandant's point as false!"
Linda looked at Austin's angry face and then looked back at the magistrate. "Yes your honour! I have evidence to prove that this pen belongs to Mr. Smith!"
