Cali woke up in Rui's embrace. They both fell asleep cuddling each other.

She dwelled on Rui's facial features. There could be a possibility of losing her memories after the operation. 

She touched Rui's face and murmured, "I hope it won't come to that point… But should that happen, my heart… please make sure you absolutely remember my love for my Rui. Never forget him and his touch."

She took her time in memorizing Rui's facial features with her hand. She traced it with her eyes closed and stopped at his lips.

"Sweetheart, what are you doing?" Cali heard Rui whisper, so she quickly opened her eyes.

She smiled, seeing the sluggish look of her fiance.

"Nothing… Just checking if I could recognize you with my eyes closed and telling my heart to remember your touch and never forget you. I don't want to forget you, Rui." Cali breathed with a quirky grin.
