Cacha and Kenichi got up late. Naturally, no one woke them up for breakfast because most of them woke up late as well. Nearly everyone but the little boys were exhausted from last night event.
Kenichi was surprise to see all his paternal family members on the dinning table during lunch. None of them went to work.
"It's very rare occation to see Dad and uncles sat on dinning table for lunch, especially on weekday" Lynn expressed her amusement openly.
"Your sister in law family has been here for while but we haven't got time to accoumpany them" Andrew looked tire but his spirit was up.
"Sir, A call from the prince" Andrew assistants came.
"Another phone call ?" Jenn rolled her eyes. Since morning, Andrew had received countless call from his business partners or old friends him. Bruce and their father had the same faith as Andrew.
All of them called to congratulate the family of last night event. However, most of the call came from people who were not invited since they were not close enough. They were playfully asking why they did not got invited.
The men tacticfully shifted the responsibility to others by saying.
'It's organised by my wife'
'I'm sorry. I tought my son had put your name down'
'I'm sorry. By brother must be forget to write down your name'
and so on ..
Andrew took the call in the study room and was back twenty minutes later. He did not say anything but continued the lunch with joyful manner.
After lunch, The whole families sat together on the garden enjoying the sun.
"The enggament party ran very smooth. I should thank you Jenn"
Jenn was pleased with her mother in law complement. The enggament was a big challenge for her, She wanted to do it right. She did not want people think that she bullied her step son.
"Sue helped me alot" She did not forget to five her sister in law credit.
"It's ok. Finlay is my nephew, it's also my duty. Anyway, they both help me to look after Ann"
"Let's talk about the wedding. Finlay, how is it going?"
Kenichi had prepared. He knew his grandmother would bring up the topic soon. "The first friday of October, we are going to hold Japanese tradional wedding. Then the tea ceremony after. The venue will either be in Hokkaido or a place near month Fuji. I personally prefer in Hokkaido"
"How about the wedding banquets? " Grandpa Anderson asked.
"It will bebon sunday, in a resort in xxx perfecture. We're going to exchange wedding vow and banquet in one go"
Andrew lived in Japan for longtime, so narurally he knew where the place were "The Friday ceremony, we better to do it in Mount Fuji than Hokkaido. Hokkaido is too far away from your wedding banquet venue. It's easy to mobilise so many people there"
Kenichi frowned "But Hokkaido is important place for us"
"You can come there anytime to reminiscing you love journey"
"Bro, I'm agree with your father. Sasha and me experinces it before. It's very tiring. Think about your wedding night, you don't want to miss it because you guys too tired right ?" Hans spoke up.
Grandma Anderson frowned. For her, their wedding night was much more important then ceremonial wedding. She whisper to her husband to persuade him.
"But we still have saturday to rest" Kenichi argued.
Hans chuckled "Bro, bride is different from bridegroom. She has to wake up every early to do the make up and hair. If the event start at 10, she has to get ready at six. You have to listen to us. We have had out wedding"
Nick was agreed "Please consider our elders, young kids and pregnant wifes"
"Pregnant wifes ?" Cacha and Sasha said at the same time.
Nick grinned proudly "3rd one. 12 weeks"
"2nd one, 11 weeks" Sean did not want to lose.
"What ?? at the same time again ? You two are really brothers" Hans was astonished.
"Congratulations... In law, you are going to have more grandchildren" Andrew and the rest congratulated Mr and Mrs Feng
Mrs Feng smiled shyly "Thank you"
"Good Job" grandaunty patted Sean back while Grandma patted Nick back.
Grandma Anderson was envy of the couple. She muttered to her husband "Do you want to see your great grandchild soon ?"
Grandma Anderson nodded "I know what to do". He cleared his throat "Choose the closer one then. It's final"
"Alright.. we do as you said" Kenichi did not rebuke his grandfather decision.
"Regarding the wedding dress, I'm going to prepare them your you, including the dress for the tea ceremony. Josh will measure you before we go back home" Alice could not hold anymore. She was adraid if she did not speak now, the other party would take this responsibility from her.
"Of course. Eldest sister knows Cacha the best. Thank you" Kenichi naturally agreed. It was also what Cacha wants.
"The bouquet are also on us. How many bridesmaid ?" Sasha turned
"Four, thank you" Cacha said without hestitation.
"make sure you let me know their dress colour"
"Everty thing about Tea ceremony will be on us" Michelle added.
"it's include make up, bride accessories" Jasmine added.
"How many people will attend ?" Mrs Feng said.
"Depend on your list. Mine and Cacha's will be round 50 to 70" Kenichi looked at his father before he continued "This is private function, No stranger to be invited" He did not want his father to invite 100 guests.
"Cacha is our youngest. her sibling all have been married.We have rather a big number of guests" Mrs Feng was a little embarass.
"How many mum ?" Cacha asked.
"Your uncles, aunties, your sisters's close family, Jung family, it will be around 40"
"My brother and his family is coming" Hans grinned.
"My half brothers too. His mother is coming as well" Alice added.
"No problem" for Kenichi as long as they were some one that closed to her and her family, it was fine. He just did not want his father high profile friends to come.
"well.. lets say it will be thirty from our side" Grandpa Anderson said. He was agree to invite only close family.
"I have invited famous cheffs for the banquet. for last night event, we did not manage to invite the number one, too short notice" Andrew wanted the best for his son big day.
"What's the point to invite famous cheff. We still ate cold sandwich last night" Kenichi grunted
"It's my bad. Actually, I asked them to keep aside some for you but some one finished them in secret" Jenn glared at the culprit, her husband.
"I though you already slept" Andrew was hungry last nigh. He did not eat anything during the function either.
Grandpa Anderson pretended to play with his phone. He also ate some of the food for Kenichi last night.
Mrs Feng poked her husband armed "You say it"
"Okay" Mr Feng clear his throat "About the wedding cost, we will shoulder part of it"
