That evening at the dinner table, something unexpected happened to Wan Jia. Or to be strict, she did something unexpected.

She was peacefully eating her roast pork when she suddenly fell into a daze. Her mind was blank for a few seconds before she unceremoniously swept her bowl onto the floor.

The two other people at the table were alarmed.

He asked a maid to clean up the mess, moved to her side and gently tried to coax her. "You don't like the food?Then I'll go cook for you something else?"

She did not even notice him next to her, much less hear him. She was still in a daze, wondering why she would feel what she just felt earlier.

"You don't feel hungry?"

"Should I cook for you later?"
