章節 15: Chapter 15
-One week earlier-
It was a wonderful night in Star City. The city itself was having quite a bit of fun thanks to some musical acts who were having a show in the stadium.
Star City has always been a place where technology was created and where citizens were able to feel safe within the city limits.
This was not only because their police force was well trained, but also because of the small group of heroes who were also tasked with protecting the city from any major harm.
This team of heroes consisted of the Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Green Arrow's side kick known as Speedy. Together, this small team of heroes were able to protect Star city from many dangers, including the one tonight.
Out on the docks right on Star City's harbor, was a big ship which seemed to be taking off at any minute now. Many workers and thugs were loading the ship up with massive amounts of items including drugs and firearms.
"Thanks to the boss, we are going to be able to have enough money to all start our own small criminal enterprises!" one of the thugs said as they were finalizing the last bit of cargo.
"Rudy is one hell of a guy!" a worker replied to the thug before lighting himself a cigarette as he stood on the side of the ship looking down at the docks.
"I heard that the boss is so strong now, that he was able to catch one of the Green Arrow's teammates. I guess he must have had a run in with them earlier this week, but he was able to take a hostage before escaping with some of his weapons." another worker chimed in as everyone started to huddle around to count their earnings.
Slap!
Deep within the ship, was a group of people in a room. In the middle of the room sat the captured friend of Green Arrow surrounded by Rudy Valentine and the rest of his personal guards and muscle.
"My boss asked you a question and you still decided not to answer him?" one of the guards said as he punched the woman in the chair right in the stomach, causing her to spit out a small mouthful of blood.
The woman in the chair was the Black Canary and she was completely bruised up. With many cuts all over her body, and black and blue spots covering her face, she was in an extremely terrible state!
"Stand down." Rudy told the guard as he stood up to walk towards the Black Canary.
