章節 10: X Colossal Clash

The timer had 5 seconds left when it beeped 4 times and then a gong sounded. Once it went off, I charged straight at my opponent who was charging towards me as well. We clashed near the middle of the battlefield and when our blades connected a shockwave was produced that shot us both back about 10 feet and created a loud bang that shook the entire stadium. The crowd went wild with excitement about the clash. I realized that in order to hit him I will have to draw him into an open striking stance. I charged again but instead of meeting him head on, I ducked under his sword and hit him square in the chest launching him and leaving me the only one standing. Before He could get back up I charged him again and before he had time to react I pinned him with my foot and held one of my axes in a position ready to strike. I asked him if he was willing to yield and he responded with no and pushed me back before running about 10 to 20 feet before I regained my balance and had gotten back to him and knocked him back down with the side of my axe and once again I pinned him and asked him once again if he wished to yield and he grunted before responding with a yes. and I walked away leaving him on the ground and me the victor. Volcar congratulated me on my stunningly quick performance and said that as a reward I could keep the axes and pick one thing from the collection of armor and other things that were similar, and so I picked a dark red cloak because it was what interested me. I left the Coliseum without armor and carrying both axes at my sides and the cloak over my Shoulders.
