章節 39: checking on True love

"He is not my true love?" I ask
"No, he is not. Your true love is Samuel the blacksmith's son."
"Who is Michael's true love?"
"The one called Juliet. It was hard keeping them apart. That is why I sent him the dreams of you growing up so he would feel connected to you."
"So the path I am on now is chosen by you?" I had to ask.
"I am afraid yes."
"Does, he love me or is that planted as well."
She dis not answer so I knew. He was not mine and once her spell was broken he would abandon me.
"I will do my best to help his country, but only if you release him from your spell."
"I will. The great one will come to me this night and I will no longer be able to interfere. He will be free and he will go freely to his love."
"The dream then was not a potion that had him turn on me but his own feelings." It was not a question I knew it was true.
I come back to my body and cry.
I fold up the small blanket and walk out I find Carl O'Connor on deck.
I explain what happened and tell him I am sorry for what has happened.
"You love him?" he asked
"Yes, I do but he is not mine to love."
"Who says so. You said he was betrayed by his true love but will a true love betray you?"
"I only know that the spell will be broken. He will turn against me and I will die because I do not belong to this world."
"What can I do then?" he asked.
"Help him walk the right path. You must not let him be betrayed by his Uncle and his cousin. My aunt told him to drink only water because he will be killed by poison in ale. Then the kingdom will belong to Ann Marie and the Duke and he will lay waste to the land and people."
"How can I save you my Queen?"
"I have a path to walk alone. No one will ever be able to walk with me. Only my true love can be by my side and his heart now belongs to another. Like many Oracle's I will die and live on helping the new one, it will be my life."
I hand him the blanket. "Give this to him and tell him of what we have spoken."

I get a plate of food and head to our cabin.
She is not there. I place the plate on the table and go to look for my fairy.
As I get to the deck O'Connor stops me. He has Coorie in his hand. I get a bad feeling.
"Can we talk some where in private my King." he said.
I now know that this will be bad. He is only formal with me when it is going to hurt.
I take him back to my cabin and shut the door.
"Ok, what is going on?"
I listened as he told me everything Cindy had said to him. Then he handed me Coorie and a wave of truth knock me down.
I did not really love the fairy. She is beautiful but not really the girl for me. I then think of Juliet and I now longer feel disgusted. She was the girl I was meant to be with but she will betray and kill me for her father.
"You are married to her now, what will you do?" O'Connor asked.
"I don't know. I know it was not her doing that she was played with as much as I. How do you stay with someone you don't really love?"
I slump down to the floor with my head hanging. I really don't know what to do.
O'Connor help me move my things into another cabin. I could not stay with her now.
How do I face a woman that gave herself to me and now is no longer is in my heart.

I wait on deck till Carl comes back and tells me how it went. He then told me Michael has moved out of the cabin and left it for me.
I walk back. I am not hungry so I lay down. I could really use Mabel right now.
I consecrate on astro plaining back home. I try for over an hour then break down and cry till I fall asleep.
I wake the next morning to a knock on the door.
"Come in"
Carl brings me a plate of food. "I don't think you have eaten in a while so I brought you some food."
"Thank you. I know I should eat but I'm not hungry. Tell me of the plan you have now.
"We will lay anchor out side of Jakeston and take the row boats into the small town. I have a few friends I trust. We will then make our way to Windsor to meet up with you aunt and uncle.
Once we get the information we need we will make our way to the Castle and try to reclaim it. Because I can't trust my cousin now, I have to rely on my memory of the layout."
"I will try to get you what you need." I say.
"I need to know how many guards and where they are located. I will draw out a map of the Castle and you can then check it against you vision or what ever it is you do."
"I will do my best."
After he left I ate a few bites to keep up my strength before trying to see what path this will lead us.
I lay down and let my spirt fly. I made it back in my fathers home. I walk to his study and find him there with my mother in his arms. They are truly happy. I try to change my mind to the bonds of true love and then I can see the string. It goes from my fathers heart to my mothers.
I walk and and find my Uncle Robert in the kitchen. He also has a string from his heart. I follow it and soon find my Uncle Adam talking to some of the servants.
I then head to the cottage. I see Henry out side waiting for Lillian. He also has a string so I follow it to the Oracle hill and to Lillian his true love.
I decide to head into town. I find Samuel he too has a string so I follow it. It leads to the girl he married. She has a child growing in her womb. The string does not go to her heart but to her child's heart. She has no string attached to her heart. No true love.
