Given rise to an stardom and popularity while attending Angeka's high school, I had already gathered a following as Rin and I became the topic of interest when we stepped onto the campus.
Riddled with a listness heart, I drifted through the lessons as if it were a breeze. Having enrolled into a public school, my sights and skill level were farther advanced than most.
Even Rin found the lessons and tests the same as a warm up. With it being our first day, I had yet to spot Angela as I sighed and felt restless as Rin clung around me like. Unwilling to accept Rinse feelings, I remained impartial as she was and will forever be my best friend along with Mia.
Through hardships and even in the face of the unknown, Rin was mine as much as I was hers. That way of thinking didn't bother rme in the slightest as I knew I held a sense of responsibility towards taking care of Rin...
Even as I watch her radiant smile beside my cheek, I can't help but feel a sharp knot, form at the bottom on my stomach like an anchor lasting on a single, silk-like thread.
Rin was a ticking, emotional bomb and as her firend, I was hellbent on being the shoulder she will cry on once reality catches up to her.
Even as I sat firm against a bench, her soft puckering smile as she fed me her homemade lunch, made me want to eat every single grain just to fill the hole in my heart.
In a way, I had already lost Mia and Rin a long time ago... Even as I try to fool myself with an illusion that everything will go back to normal some day, my eye can'not see the shine that once awayted me in a dream I once had as a child.
With it, I touch softly against my school shirt and close my eyes... Until realizing my bra was missing and turned to Tina s she had gotten into the habit of stripping my underwear in the past few days.

Advent in the fact that I was here at school, trying to live a normal life, my head was filled with negative thoughts as I prayed nothing bad happened. Woth each passing, hair raising second, I was on my guard whule revealing to the world my listless attitude for the educational system.
My body felt heavy towards the end o the day as I often caught Rin staring at the air with an absent, low hung gaze as if her mind were elsewhere.
Heading home in an unfamiliar road, Rin pointed out Angela as she we passed by the same spot at the stairs from yesterday. Walking beside her and sitting down, Angela was startled as she became on guard and firm.
"Everything... Alright? " With a concerned shake towards Rin, I leaned to touch her shoulder and watched in awe as she had heavy bags under her eyes.
"H... Hello... G-good morning. " Her absence in mind and weary eyes told an unrelenting story that resonated in my chest when I saw her clenching a small handbook.
Taking hild of it shortly after she passes put on my shoulder, I opened it up as me and Rin took a look at the jumble of pages. What we saw was incredible and heart breaking. Dozens if not, close to a hundred notes filled each page with detailed sources and drawn evidence that concluded everything happening around my old neighborhood.
Before reaching a stop at a blanl page yet to be filled, I cracked a smipe whole taking out a pen from my bag and drew a small heart into the corner of the blank page. With my signature, I left a small comment, cheering her on and to not push herself.

Having carried Angela home with us, I set heels down onto my bed as Rin stripped and headed to tale a hot bath from the long day. I rained sitting beside the bed as Angela slept soundly. Without a glimmer of light, a smooth breeze rolled in from the wondow as the setting sun stretched across the floor on color.
Blinking with heavy eyes, slid of my school shorts and climbed beside Angela. Relaxing over the cool fabric as it touched my legs and chest, I felt at peace as I fell into a state of weary nothingness.
Sliding my hand across the pillow, I came across Angela's smooth skin from her arm. Feeling the warmth as my hand was pierced with a gentle softness, I dug in fither and found a form of comfort in her every breath.

As Rin had climbed into the bed along with me and Angela, I found a sort of comfort I never knew existed until now. While dozing off every now and then, I opened my eyes gently as Rin and Angela soundly slept beside me at arms length.
We all then eventually felt a form of warmth and safety within each others arms. In time, we had over slept into the next morning and woke up in the middle of the day. Realizing the time, I watched as Angela was still still asleep.
Humming gently under my breath, I fell back into bed as Rin held my hand above Angelas. waist. The three of us then snuggled close as we continued sleeping the weary souls we had over exerted in the last couple of days.

When I opened my eyes, I turned and sharply looked at the menacingly horrifying monster of dark and painful colors as it hung above the ceiling. Holding my breath, I instinctively began covering the rim of the bed in an enclosed dome of light. As the dome of light grew, I began to push the monster into a corner and felt the clear and calm feeling steadysteady my hand as I closed of an area... Where I crushed it with an adjacent dome of condensed light.
With the colors of light covering the floor, I released the domes of light in an instant as my nose began to bleed from the strain. Using one dome required intense focus, however, having been on the spot, I used two simtaniously in an attempt to kill of the monster quickly.
Catching my breath as I stood up and closed the window, I looked outside and raised an entire dome around the house. Laughing blood as my throat felt as if I had swallowed a dozen needles, I sat against the windowsill while catching my breath and baring the pain so as not to wake Rin or Angela.
Passing out for a brief moment, when I woke up, I found myself in bed as a strange man was inspecting my eyes. Blinking, I shot up and gapsed for air as I threw up blood. As soon as it passed, I raised my head while staring intently at the window. A couple of monsters, invisible and coating in light hung and crawling around the outside, scurring to somehow get in.
With my current condition, I raised my arm once more and closer it firmly in the air as the monsters were thrown away into the sky.
Fading in and out of consciousness for a while, I eventually woke up in the dead of night as the radiance of the calming moonlight filled the room in a single batch of color.
My eyes had begun fitting color into just about everything I saw. Though, my own ability to discern light and shadow had begun to fade steadily away soon after meeting Pira.
Beofte long, I was not the least bit shocked when I reilized my power gradually came with an unforseen cost the more I sued large quantities of it. My sence of vision was being destroyed as things got darker and dimmer over time. Still being able to identify anything with color, even with my eyes wide open, I could no longer see Rin's face clearly anymore.
My condition only worsened as more and more monsters of black light began appearing near our home. Being ever carwfull as I had doubled the protection on everyone who came in and put of the house, I made sure to focus all my energy in keeping my family safe.
That is, until Pira abruptly showed up one night and dragged me out of my bed and into her palace where the true, unrelenting reason of being chosen came to light... And it was far from bright.
