章節 5: Chapter 4: Dream Come True and Intense Training
As Alex awoke from being thrown like a rag dog on his way to wherever he was at only to find himself inspecting the area around himself seeing a breathtaking forest with rays of light passing through the tree branches, the sounds of running water flowing through streams and the chirping of beautiful birds. It looked like a paradise that would put anywhere back on earth to shame. As he rose from the ground he walked over to where he could hear the sounds of the flowing water from the stream, as he got to the edge of the bank he kneeled down to look at himself in the water and what he saw almost made his heart skip a beat.
He couldn't believe what he saw, a young man with grayish-white hair with deep almost golden bronze skin color and a body that already looked like it was sculpted by gods. He couldn't process just how amazing he looked, looks like that 'being' really made him into not only archer but also even more handsome and masculine. As he saw his face that wasn't just cute or handsome but seemed like with just one look could cause any female to fall head over heels for him and maybe even some men, too bad he didn't swing that way or else no one would be spared from him.
As he turned away from the water and inspected his surroundings he noticed that he was entirely alone right now. Seeing no one or anything around him he decided to raise his arms into the sky and scream at the top of his lungs "Yessssssssssssss, I've finally made it, I'm finally in One Piece!!!!!!". With that out of his chest, he finally decided to start thinking hard on what he should do next since he was no longer in his own world, but in a world full of pirates, marines, kings, giants, and unbelievably big monsters. He had to figure out how to make himself stronger in only the 8 or so years he has until Luffy leaves and starts his journey to becoming the pirate king.
As he was thinking of what he should do a rustle came from behind some bushes that were near the stream, as he turned to face what was coming out his instincts flared sensing danger and jumped back with all the strength he had. As he landed he saw a sabertooth tiger where he was standing just a second ago and if he had stayed its claws would have sunken into his skull effectively killing him and taking his dream away from him just as he had arrived. Seeing this creature really spooked Alex for a second until he realized that he wasn't back on earth but he was in one piece where the word impossible was full of shit. he could do almost anything as long as he was strong enough to defend himself.
Alex then started to walk slowly walk closer to the stream so that way the sabertooth couldn't attack him from behind and would have to face him head-on. As the sabertooth saw its easy prey creeping to the bank it started to creep in front of Alex effectively cutting off a way back into the woods. As they stared each other down in what seemed like a fight that obviously should have a clear winner but what would surprise most average people is that the seemingly 10-year-old child was as calm as the stream of water behind him. He was looking at the sabertooth as though it was a house cat that couldn't even take care of itself properly much less even harm him.
As a strong gust of wind blew from behind Alex leaves were thrown into the air and swirled around them as if signaling that something incredible was about to happen and as the last leaf fell into the calm stream the sabertooth tiger jumped at Alex with blinding speed. To the sabertooths misfortune as its claws and teeth that were supposed to sink into the child's flesh and rip him limb from limb never came, instead, the sabertooth screamed in agony as electricity coursed through its body as if it was struck by an unparalleled amount of lightning.
As it passed through Alex while being electrocuted, burned, and cut from the intensity of the lighting it fell into the stream causing ripples and water to fly all around. Alex seeing this just made him even more excited he finally could do what others thought impossible and he even had his favorite devil already without even having to taste how disgusting the fruits really were and it was even a Logia type devil fruit that let him create, control, and even transform into electricity at will. All the incredible things that were happening already to him in this world just made him smile. A smile that could make any woman's heart skip a beat or even melt the coldest of peoples hearts.
When Alex finally turned around and saw the sabertooth rising out of the water charred, partially blackened, and bleeding he slowly walked up to the now calmy flowing stream and stuck his hand inside the water and looked into the cats weak and pain-stricken eyes and said to it "bye bye kitty". He then activated his devil fruit powers and electrocuted the tiger to death seemingly ending the 'battle' in just one attack. As the tiger floated downstream into the massive ocean of the east blue Alex turned around and started walking into the lush forest on the island as if nothing had happened. As he walked along the island he came across a divet in one of the mountains causing it to make a self-built base for him big enough to fit a whole trailer inside of. This is where he decided to make his base while he stayed on the island to train and become strong to travel on the open seas.
As he sat there inside his new base, he started thinking of what he can do to make himself stronger in the time he had and what he was going to do when he left. With so much to think about he decided what he needed to do first and most importantly was how to get strong enough, there was no telling what all was exactly on this island. So like that his training began in the mornings he would work on his physical capabilities thanks to finding sea stone inside some of the other caves that were near his base, he was able to completely nullify his devil fruit powers and work on making himself physically strong without the need of his powers. He would do an insane amount of running to where he couldn't even feel his lungs hurt anymore, and lift massive rocks and boulders in his arms and do exercises with them and also using them as workout equipment.
In the afternoons he would focus on his devil fruit powers seeing how to control them better and how to use them for all purposes no matter what the situations. In the evening time, he would work on his haki training since most of the creatures on the island were nocturnal and would only come out in the dark to hunt. He would use Rayleigh's training methods that he used on Luffy to make himself better. He even came up with his own ways that he read in other peoples fanfics of one piece to see if they actually help with his armament and conquerers haki.
Even in the dead of night he would only sleep at most 4 hours a night and would stay up for the rest of his time to work on his martial arts and sword techniques that he learned throughout his last life in order to be more like his favorite characters. It also didn't hurt to learn all this since it let him get better at his job in his old life as well. To Alex, although being the greatest in one field was great he wanted to diversify and be able to do everything since he didn't have a crew in his last life.
An just like that this his brutal hell training to become the strongest man in the world began, with absolutely no will to quit and all 8 years to get as strong as he could, he completely write off his old life. Starting that day he wasn't Alex anymore he had died back on earth now he was someone else, someone else entirely so he decided he needed a new name and what he decided on was Ace... Ace D. Fate, the Emperor.
