章節 19: THE QUEEN OF THE ABYSS
The brotherhood continues to send simultaneous attacks against tyrant Khufra. On the other hand, the maiden Esmeralda finally gained her consciousness.
"You can't escape my burning blasts!"
Valir shouted as he sends his flames against Khufra. She immediately saw the fight between the brotherhood and Khufra. Esmeralda tried to gather her remaining strength to help the two men suppress Khufra. And without their notice, upon gathering the powers of the moon casket within her Esmeralda quickly showered Khufra with it.
"Star!"
she exclaimed. She stepped forward once more and whipped the recharged energy flowing inside her.
"The underworld is your fate!"
she added talking about the enemy. Khufra was charged backward dealt by the trio's attack most especially when Esmeralda joined. He knows the power of the moon casket can overtake him.
"May my rule, add some fun to this boring world",
Khufra started and recharged himself from the attacks.
"I am an Immortal!"
he bellowed.
"No one can't stop me",
he added but was scheming how to oppress. More advantageous with Esmeralda because she had the windtalker and fire mage help to suppress him. However, the help that khufra needs just came bringing with her the hungry abyssal creatures and her dark allies. Vale was stunned by one of the abyssal creatures.
"Ding-dong!"
she dashes towards Vale as she morphed into her famous purple beast. She was assisted by the loyal alchemist Faramis.
"Your life is no longer yours!"
Faramis cried. The trio no longer as strong, added that the abyssal queen bring with her the strongest allies she had. Alice on the latter made the negotiations with Khufra to become allies of the dark. The brotherhood's energy drains so fast because Faramis was so skilled on countering their attacks.
"Pain is my greatest gift to you!"
he added demonically. It turned out after Faramis inflicted the two with serious damage Selena had her huge chance in finishing both of them. Meanwhile, Esmeralda was against Vexana that she can't help the two men. Valir was badly wounded by Faramis than Vale. He was on his knees, weak and helpless. Selena laughed in her demonic tone and swiftly dive to end Valir.
"In the name of the winds",
shouted Vale. And when Vale saw Selena he quickly run to save Valir but Faramis cast his black alchemy on Vale and Selena's attack had quickly ended his life. Valir's eyes grew in rage as his heart sunk after seeing Vale fell to the ground lifeless. He quickly cast his last fire inferno towards the enemy. Esmeralda overtaken Vexana and she quickly helped Valir and they both escaped from the scene. The fire mage shed tears after remembering the last image of Vale. A sudden tight dominated inside his chest that made it hard for him to breathe. He cried like never before.
"Try to keep up if you can",
she said while keeping up their pace. Esmeralda embraced him trying to comfort Valir but she insisted they need to go because the queen of the abyss and her allies were chasing them.
